My meter was obsolete and a disaster waiting to happen. Evergy (the electric Company) advised me to get a licensed electrician to change it. So I informed Homeserve, my warranty Company about my issue and they contacted one of their contractors and explained my issue to them. After getting details of my issue, their contractor sent a licensed electrician to my home to see what the issue was about. After a couple of minutes at home, he told me that the job was approved and he would be back in a couple weeks to do it. And yes, he came back and spent almost a whole day at my home and replaced my meter with a brand new meter. I mean he was professional and knew exactly what to do.

Except for the fact it took (3) calls to convince c/s that a backed up sewer line prevented flushing, washing clothes and bathing--action was finally taken and a plumber was dispatched and finally RRIVED @ 10:00pm--MY Call was placed @7:15 that AM!!!!!!!

Great service by your dispatcher who took my call and lined up service. We discussed a similar previous problem, and she was very helpful in arranging the most suitable contractor to correct our situation. That contractor was also great. He alerted us about his pending arrival, listened carefully to my background information, asked the right questions, explained his plan of attack, and worked the job until he was satisfied it was done right. He and his partner took care to keep the site clean during and after the work was done. While I hope the problem does not reoccur, I know Home Serve and this contractor will take care of us.
