Impressive reaction to a mishap on their end. Customer Service is certainly their cup of tea. Wonderful experience not only having made a mistake but fixing it on their end.

The technician could not replicate the knocking noise problem repeatedly although he did hear it once. Based on that, he recommended that I video record the knocking noise every time I hear it. Every time the A/C cuts off, the knocking sound begins and it stops within a minute or so. In March we don't have many hot days. So, I will wait to around May or June, when the A/C will be running on a regular basis, then I will call again. While I understand the technician's point of view, I am not happy about because the knocking sound continues to occur whenever the A/C shuts off.

He said that home serve only allows 100 feet of clearance, so I am not sure whether the problem was fully cured. He did say to change toilet paper, so I am going to do that.

When our water heater stopped heating we called HomeServe for an appointment. Our service tech came 2 days later and evaluated the problem. The new water heater replacement was approved and Allan did a great job of carefully replacing the unit within 2 additional days. We were especially pleased that our service tech arrived exactly when scheduled and completed the repairs within the time frame promised. There were no forms or papers for me to complete and the customer service was excellent. Thanks for the great job you do.
