Thank you for all the wonderful care my Mother received there. Your community made her life so much richer. She was very happy there.

My only issue and this is ongoing. Nobody answers the phone after Joni is off. My latest incident was my mom's phone was out, (not through Homewood) and I was concerned that she might have fallen and knocked the phone off the receiver so I callled and called the main phone and it took several attempts at getting someone to answer. Most times no one ever does answer. I will say that we have fixed mom's phone where it is now going through Homewood. With that said someone still needs to answer that phone at night.

Everyone is very friendly and caring. However, there are one or two who occasionally have a bad day or attitude and it shows in the care I receive.

Can someone please answer the phone at night.

I would like to see more outings where the residence see or experience something new. Perhaps an outing to The Dahlia farm in Canby, The tulip Festival, a restaurant, etc. . I do not think a Country Drive (simply sitting in the bus) is much of an outing. Also, would like to see card playing added to activities. When I have asked about this, I was told cards are available should the residents want to organize a game. This has not happened. What about seeing if people would like to form a pinochle, cribbage, bridge etc group that plays regularly? Shannan has been extremely helpful. Love Joanie at the front desk.

My mother is happy and enjoys all the activities. The staff treats her like a family member. Everyone has been very kind and helpful.

For the most part the care that my Mom receives is wonderful and the staff is amazing. There have been a few things that have needed attention but all in all a wonderful facility.

In general I think Homewood is a nice place. The concerns are when there are repeated complaints but nothing changes. I understand some issues are not going to change, but you want the residents to feel like they are being heard.
