Communication—real communication, not just the usual empty chatter with pets around—seems to be lacking. I've never witnessed such favoritism in a company as I have here at HBM.People come and go, but if I were to go, they would struggle to find a replacement with my level of experience and ability to handle everything. It would be difficult to bring in someone who has not operated at my level before.

Supply organization. We used to have the supply closet up here and now each area either orders their own items or has someone doing it for them. I am sure there is some waste/overlap going on.My view of things going on being in the Admin area can be rather "narrow", so I don't have much to suggest.

Universal IT updates and universal procedure and policies.Support. support. support.I'd like to communicate more but I have too much work to do.Lots of big talk, very corporate speak, but no transparencyIt's pretty awful. It's gross in the hierarchy.Getting rid of some key players is a start. But from what is whispered in hallways and rooms, this is always the case.Nursing and MHT's are a various levels of engagement and that's a problem.

401k should start after 1 month, not 5. Vision/Dental/other benefits should chart after 1 month, not 3. Tuition reimbursement only afforded to nurses...not fair. 100% paid health insurance only afforded to nurses...not fair. Competing priorities from corporate that bog down hospital processes. Salary ranges for several roles like nursing and admin staffing are below market rate.
