Engine oil and filter were listed as having been replaced, but the oil on the dipstick looks old (dark) and smells old (fuely) as well. So I'm thinking that the mechanic maybe only used the suction tube method to draw out most of the old engine oil, which is a shortcut method, instead of draining oil by removing the oil pan drain plug, which is the correct Jaguar method. It's possible that residual oil in the oil cooler and elsewhere in the oil pressure passages contaminated the new 0-20w oil that was supposedly added, contributing to the old oil look and smell, but this seems like the same condition of the oil before I brought the car in - indicating that the oil was Not changed. But either way, it leaves me concerned that a full oil change was not performed. The car's CPU module was updated, and the car washed, so I appreciate those being done. The service technician that checked me in and out of the facility was professional.

It was good. Cust service was great on Salesman’s part. Nice guy. Very accommodating. Finance guy was a little disappointed about not selling a warranty. He could have been nicer after the fact. He was actually a jerk about it.
