Brad reached out through collectly on 02/04/2026- states that he was receiving bills for two different charges at the same appointment when he was only seen for preventative services. After reviewing patient chart, I was able to determine patient was billed for an office visit and preventative. Reviewed with coder through Webex chat, a separate issue was addressed as well as a change in medication. This constitutes an office visit charge. I relayed findings to patient on 02/04/2026, patient responded through collectly that he was put on cholesterol medication due preventative numbers being high. He stated this does not constitute an office charge and that he is an insurance broker in this field and he is correct.
