The park itself was nice, and Ranger Mark was absolutely amazing. He was truly the highlight of our trip! He was friendly, engaging, and made such a positive impact on our family’s experience.Unfortunately, there were several areas that were disappointing. The food truck employee was very rude and short with us. I arrived around 7:30 p.m. and was made to feel like I was inconveniencing her by ordering, even though they didn’t close until 8:00 p.m. There were no other food options available in the park at that time.I was also disappointed that there wasn’t a pancake breakfast offered. The character experience was very limited as well. During our entire three-day stay, we only saw Cindy Bear a few times, and each interaction felt extremely rushed. I understand it was very hot outside, but it would have been nice if there were scheduled indoor meet-and-greets in an air-conditioned space so families had a better opportunity to interact with the characters. We also asked several times for the character cars to come out. We were repeatedly told there wasn’t enough staff or that it was too hot. It wasn’t until I asked multiple times that they finally made it happen. It felt like there wasn’t enough staffing to provide many of the advertised experiences.Another disappointment was the lack of an outdoor movie and very few indoor activities to escape the extreme heat. Compared to other parks we’ve visited, there simply weren’t enough activities to keep families entertained throughout the day.Overall, Ranger Mark made our trip memorable, but the park could greatly improve the guest experience by offering more character interactions, better customer service, additional indoor activities during hot weather, and more consistent entertainment throughout the day.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was amazing. My kids loved the fishing and the wibits. We all loved the pools. The staff was fantastic. The app was never updated if things were canceled due to weather or being understaffed. We were looking forward to a few events that left a lot to be desired. “Movie night” was in a small room that didn’t fit everyone well and it wasn’t a movie really it was either a very old Yogi bear movie or another yogi cartoon. We left because we were in the way and my kids just weren’t interested in what was on.The “pool party” was kind of fun; it was really just one game this kids played and kid music. We had just as much fun just swimming. But those are my ONLY complaints. It was a genuinely wonderful experience and we will be back.

The cabin was dirty under the beds with a lot of bug traps and dead bugs. You can tell know one cleaned under it for months at least! We had a mouse in our kitchen cabinet as well. Had a coffee machine but pot was missing. Then get home and they called accusing us of breaking the futon and the coffee pot. Thank god I had pics a videos! Be careful with this place, they will turn your vacation into a nightmare! Will never ever go back!

We had a fabulous time at the campground. All of the workers were working extra hard to make sure that the experience was nice in this hot weather.

The campground isn’t worth the money. I understand paying that amount for the bigger Jellystones with more to offer, but this one lacked quite a bit and I’ve been to numerous all across the country. My trip consisted of myself, my friend, and my twin daughters. We were there to be local for a softball tournament. I rented a golf cart. I signed the form stating I wouldn’t let anyone under 18 drive it. Everyone in my party was over 18 and was included on the list of drivers. I’m 37, my friend was 32 and my twin girls are both 18. One evening the lady who runs the park seen one of my daughters driving. I was in the back of it. She asked if they were 18 with a license and I told her yes. Thought that was the end of it. Sunday morning the girls drove the golf cart to the bathroom. A man stopped them and asked how old they were. They told him they were 18. He followed them back to our site and I stepped outside and spoke with him and confirmed they were 18. Again, that wasn’t good enough. Here comes the lady that runs that park again approaching our camp site as we are packing up to leave for the tournament. She demands to see their drivers license. I was very pleasant and said we were running late and I would be more than happy to show her upon our return from softball. She got irate and started arguing with me about it. She said that she was going to take the golf cart if I didn’t stop what I was doing and show her the drivers license. I politely gave her the key and said go ahead. We were thankfully checking out a day early anyway and leaving after we returned from softball.I understand the policy that is in place. I followed the policy. I stated numerous times to numerous people that my children were 18 years old. If following people around harassing them is what is going to happen to someone who looks like a fresh 18 year old then I would suggest requiring a copy of everyone’s drivers license listed on the form upon check in. The way we were treated was unacceptable. I was nothing but nice to the lady who runs the campground. If we were not running late and already in the truck I would have gladly shown her the girls drivers license at that time. If it was a big deal, why didn’t she ask to see their license on day one when she asked me how old they were. I also want to make it known that the day in question with the rude camp ground person, my daughters were both wearing softball uniforms with the graduation year listed on the sleeve (2026). It made it pretty obvious that they were recent grads who would be of age.Overall it was an awful experience and if I could give it no stars I would. I will never be back there despite many of my girls softball tournaments being played in the area. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

I loved the cabin, the activities, and the overall atmosphere of the campground. The staff was all very helpful. My 2 year old granddaughter loved pool party, the donuts, and the beach. It was nice to be able to bring my family and dogs. We plan to return next year.
