We stayed in the boo boo cabin right on the lake and was beautiful and love the fact my parents got the other boo boo cabin next to it. It was perfect for our daughter to go back and forth between the cabins from ours to her grandparents and have the common area between the two cabins. The facilities and cabin were really clean. The staff was super friendly and made sure that we had a good time there. We really enjoyed all the planned out activities planned throughout the day and took full advantage of it. My daughter's favorite activity was the rock mining as she's really into collecting rocks. We really liked all the things to do for kids at the park like the jump pad and play ground. Our daughter got to meet all the bears including Yogi when he was passing out popsicles for the kids!Just some feedback would would try to have something to prevent bugs coming in when the cabin door opens. We had to kill at least nine flies and had a hornet get into the cabin just by simply opening the door. We were very mindful of quickly closing the door right behind us.The cabin could use some more storage space for dry goods. Would have been nice to have a cabinet or shelf to put our dry food as we had to use the table in the room for storage. The bunk bed area could use a fan. When the pocket door is shut there is no ventilation. We were glad we brought a fan to put in that room. The reason did not give a five star rating as the newer pool which had the water slide was so cold that it was like taking a cold plunge. I could not enjoy swimming at all the whole stay we were there. The water was freezing!! There was a smaller little pool that got to enjoy our first night that we were there. However, the next day it was locked and not available to use as the pump had gone out and they were waiting for repairs by the pool company. My daughter did enjoy the lake and inflatables. It was just too bad I could not enjoy swimming in the lake as being pregnant and having to wear a life vest was not something I could do. It would have been really nice to enjoy the pool if it was not freezing cold. The activity room has a sewer problem that the staff says they know about. We did not do any activities in there because of it. It smelled like poopy diapers that have been in a garbage can for days like a diaper genie that needed to be cleaned out of dirty diapers.Prior to our visit, I had called in several times and got different mixed messages about early check-in for the cabins stating first that they were not available for cabins then called back stating we could arrive at early check-in time if we wanted to and enjoy the amenities in the park until the cabin was ready. We did arrive for early check-in and was able to check into the cabin as the cabin was ready upon arrival. All in all it was a good visit just wish we could have enjoyed more of the amenities offered. It just did not seem that everything was working properly. Next visit would like to check out the Akron Jellystone Park.

We rented a yogi bear cabin that was very nice and clean. The activities were great and the kids loved it. The staff were very nice and professional. The only thing that was a tiny bit upsetting was that we ordered wood to be delivered in the morning and hadn’t received it by 2:00pm so we went to the office to remind them and still didn’t get it until the third time we went to the office to say we haven’t received it yet. They delivered it right away but by then it was around 5:00 pm. I would have been more upset if we had wanted to build a fire when we ordered and paid for it but we were busy with activities so it really didn’t upset our day. It’s just that we had to remind them two times. Also the camping is a bit pricey. Overall it was very nice and I would recommend it.

Our experience was excellent. We are making this an annual summer trip from now on. The wibit, crafts and fishing were our favorite. Such a relaxing family getaway.

We stayed in a cabin. It was very cute and the kitchen was furnished well with all you would need to cook a meal. However we felt the cabin was dirty. Looks like someone used one rag and gave some places a quick wipe down. Everything had a smeared film on it. The counter tops, the refrigerator, the microwave, the stove and the kitchen window (which did not have a blind compared to the other exact cabins near us.) The windowsills were all dusty and had dead bugs everywhere. We stayed in the cabin next door to this one last summer and everything was clean. The condition of the cabin was a disappointment. However; the grandkids still had a great getaway and the staff were all very polite and helpful.

Our experience was wonderful! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, nothing but kindness and friendly service. The staff always had a smile on their face they were very welcoming. The grounds itself were very clean and beautiful. So many activities for our children to do they were always occupied every minute of the day. Very clean and well-organized campground. This will definitely have many more visits for us. The kids absolutely enjoyed there experience and can't wait to go back again. This campground was a big hit for us. Very very impressed. Keep up the great work!
