We had been coming each summer for the past 2 years for a visit with family. We enjoyed the campground itself and the activities for kids and amenities. The Waterslide was closed last year, so it was nice that it was open, and we overall had fun with our family. However, compared to the past years, we did have some issues with our cabin. When we arrived, it appeared that the floors had not been cleaned. There were wad of hair and lots of what looked like dog hair, though one of the workers confirmed that it was not a pet friendly cabin. On Sunday night our toilet became clogged and was not able to be fixed. We were offered 25% back on our stay and a golf cart for the night, along with access to a bathroom in a vacant cabin. It was a nice gesture, but unfortunately the vacant cabin had not been cleaned, and my wife felt the need to clean the shower and poop stains out of the toilet.Although we appreciate the gesture, Im not sure that this was handled in the most hospitable way.We also found many of the Wibit inflatables to be under inflated and/or losing air. It's hard to tell if we will come back to this Jellystone or seek out a different one for future get togethers.

Definitely need children to enjoy the park.it was kept very clean. People were very polite and friendly. Camping spaces were very close together and did not provide any privacy.

We love Jellystone Columbus North and recommend it to all our camping friends! The activities are reliable (timely) and fun, the campground is clean and well kept, the employees are exceptional, and fellow campers are kind. Our two year old accidently popped his balloon sword and within seconds a young boy ran up and offered his in its place. We live two hours away but we'll keep coming back every year!

We rented an 8-person cabin for our group of 2 adults and 6 children, and unfortunately our vacation started on the wrong foot. As soon as we opened the door to our cabin, we were hit with a strong mold smell. We immediately notified the office, and to their credit, they moved us into another cabin temporarily (Monday through Thursday morning) while they said ours would be cleaned. However, when Thursday arrived, they told us they wanted to clean it one more time before we moved back. That made it seem like they were trying to cover up the smell rather than fix the actual problem. When I went to inspect the cabin myself, it was obvious there was significant water damage. The cove base was peeling away from the walls, the flooring was bubbling, and there was mildew residue inside the cabinets. The mold smell was still there. It was clear this wasn't simply a housekeeping issue.Because of this, we ended up spending the rest of our trip in a 6-person cabin with 8 people. Two of us had to sleep on the floor. We spent a large portion of one vacation day packing everything up, moving cabins, driving home to get an air mattress, only to discover it wouldn't even fit in the room. It was a complete waste of what should have been family vacation time. The campground refunded us the price difference between the two cabin types, which we appreciated, and the manager was kind throughout the process. However, that didn't make up for the inconvenience. We booked this trip a year in advance, and instead of relaxing, we spent our vacation moving our family of eight, unpacking twice, and trying to make a smaller cabin work. The smaller cabin also didn't have enough outdoor seating for our group. There were also several smaller issues throughout our stay that added to the frustration, such as there being no life jackets available in my size and the ceramics area being out of acrylic paint for the kids. On their own these wouldn't have been a big deal, but after everything else, they were just icing on the cake.Overall, this experience put a damper on what should have been a fun family vacation. While I appreciate that the staff tried to accommodate us, I don't feel the situation was handled in a way that matched the inconvenience we experienced. Sadly, because of this experience, we'll be choosing a different campground for our annual camping trip next year

We love going to Jellystone with a group of campers that includes grandkids and other kids. It's getting a bit pricey for 4 days. We are going to look for other places next year. Love the park. Would recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed all of the amenities but our sites were horrible. We had to spend every morning cleaning up mud because there was no grass. The hill behind us was a mudslide. It was very difficult to even walk around. When I told a worker they said, " Yeah... That's a bad site."

We have a great time while there. It seems staffing is a struggle this year that affects some activities. Also, some of the teen workers are less than enthusiastic while working and don't engage with guests. Both the picnic basket and canteen need more staff when open.
