We enjoyed our stay and the amenities that the park offers. We mainly stay at State Parks but wanted to try this specific Jellystone. Let me start by saying the staff and activities were great. However, for the cost I was a little disappointed. We came in on a Thursday and the newer pool was not open. Then the hours were very limited the rest of our stay. They closed it down one day at 3 at the hottest point of the day. I was also not impressed with the upkeep of the park. There was trash all around and in the lake. Weeds are grown up in all of the spots. I had high expectations for this park and felt a little let down. If I am splurging on a park, we will go back to Lazy River for that price.

2 of the pools were closed while we were there.

We had previously stayed at Jellystone North and had had a fabulous time. We had family in from out of the area for graduation and were camping together after all the festivities were done and over with. Our families looked forward to camping next to the resort pool and relaxing. Upon arriving Sunday the resort pool was closed because of no lifeguards. The restroom and bathhouse we also camped next to so we didn’t have to hook up was filthy. The pool near the ranger station was open Sunday but closed the following day by the health inspectors. The slide opened eventually at some point on Monday. The kids enjoyed the pond activities. We ended up having to hook up the second day when the bathrooms still had not been cleaned and weren’t sanitary to use anymore. They did get cleaned later that evening after we brought it to their attention. I had spoke so highly of the park it was egg in my face and left them with a bad first experience, they won’t be back. We tend to travel to state parks but wanted to splurge on a resort feel to relax after so many long days and didn’t really get any of the amenities that you get up-charged for per person. It was disappointing as locals to have such a poor experience that we most likely won’t splurge on camping there in the future.

The cabin was okay. The floors were incredibly dirty, there was old sheets from previous guest on the fence. The wibits were fun. The beach area was very gross, there was leaves and tree branches all over the shallow part. The kids could not play anywhere near it.The daily activities were limited. We were disappointed by the lack of activities. The train was open just 1 time and drive the kids for 3 minutes. The big issue we had was that the resort pool was closed for our entire stay. Then the small heated pool was closed on our 2nd day. The only pool available was the small non heated pool. Every child complained about how cold it was. The slide was to open at 230 everyday but it was closer to 330. It is disheartening how the amenities we paid for weren't available. We are told that the resort pool is closed due to lifeguard shortage. This is a reflection of poor management, how can you have 3 days straight of no lifeguard availability. This was our first time at Jellystone and I can confidently say we will never stay here again. It was not worth the money we paid for.

We've been coming to this Jellystone for a long time. We were disappointed this time around. Unfortunately due to inadequate staffing, the resort pool was closed, the cleanliness of the facilities were lacking, and the programming felt rushed. The workers are stressed. Check in was chaotic. Sadly I don't know if we will come back.

Excellent family fun. Always clean facilities, respectful staff, and courteous campers.

We went to Jellystone a couple years ago and while we still had a lot of fun, I feel like things have gone a little downhill. The staff there were all amazing and had such great attitudes. The activity girls were truly working so hard and going from one activity to the other ALL DAY LONG! I was just disappointed with the lack of employees to keep things up and running. The blow ups on the lake are great but the pools are a real selling point for littles. I was pretty disappointed that the big pool wasn’t open much at all when we were there and then the little pools were SUPER crowded because only one was heated and the other heater was broken. For as much as you pay to stay, especially to tent camp, it was just a big bummer. I know the golf carts are cool but it all feels super out of control and crazy ALL the time. There is no monitoring of who/how they are driven. We had kids riding bikes and were witnessing multiple people drunk while driving around. Not okay.

We were very disappointed this time around. We came last year and it was wonderful but if this trip had been our first we would not have come back. Renting a cabin for a long weekend is not cheap, and to have the amenities not be available with absolutely no communication beforehand was ridiculous. Our kids love the resort pool and for it to only be open a few hours on the first two days and not even on Sunday or Monday of our trip and not finding out until we were already checked in was extremely dissapointing. The water slide was also closed. Our cabin I don’t think has ever been mopped, the bottom of my daughter’s feet turned black just from walking from the bathtub to the bedroom. Our toilet broke on the first day and it took several hours to get fixed. The ice cream shack was only open once while we were there and it was out of every flavor but one. The food truck was out of most of the kids meal items and drinks. Between our family and our friends family that booked two cabins for the second year in a row, we will not be returning next year.

While we had a good time with the train ride and bear visits/events around the park, we were disappointed how much the slide and resort pool were closed.

Bathrooms are dirty. Showers were ICE cold. Pool did not open on time as there was no lifeguard. First time there and was just a little disappointed.
