It was not that great. They was under staffed. Pools was not open. Could not ride anything due to under staffed. They charge all that money for things not to be available dye to staff.. We was very unhappy with the visit.

So the stay was good, facility was clean and activities were fun for the kids. But need to get another life guard on duty. The pool being only open for a few hours a day is a no go for me.

For the amount of money we spent on a three day camp site and golf cart to bring our three grandkids to the magical Jellystone, I am hugely DISAPPOINTED!1. The bathrooms were filthy with flooded floors (and were the same for the last two years we’ve visited). It looked like the floors, showers, and toilets had not been cleaned in quite some time. There were three stalls, but one was out of order and the other was plugged and full of stool.2. The only pool that was open our entire stay (except for a few hours late in the day on Saturday when the other one opened up) was up on the deck, and the water was so cloudy it was disgusting. I’m sure this was from the amount of people that were in it. The bathroom at the deck pool was so nasty even my son wouldn’t use it.The second pool opened up for just a few hours late Saturday3. The “beach” area had very little sand that our young grandkids could play in. The entry area of the beach was so full of leaves, moss and slime that they were afraid to go in it because it was slippery and slimy.4. We arrived on Friday and left Monday. During this long weekend the water slide (like the second pool), was only open for a small window on Saturday.Lastly, we had to leave camp to get some supplies, and when we returned we sat in a line of traffic for approx 20 minutes trying to get back in. It seemed the problem was because people had parked their golf carts in front of the deck pool, therefore campers coming in could not pull to the side so others could get by.I do plan to contact Jellystone Park owners to express my concerns.

We just wrapped up an amazing stay at Jellystone Columbus North, and I cannot say enough good things about this park—specifically the staff Kathryn, Greer and The TWINS were amazing people!!We ran into a few unexpected hiccups during our trip, and the team here handled them flawlessly. Instead of leaving us to stress out, the staff stepped in immediately with a polite, helpful, and genuinely caring attitude.Beyond the stellar service, the park itself is a fantastic family getaway. Tucked away in beautiful, mature trees, it feels like a true escape while still being loaded with things to do. The kids were obsessed with the lake, the water slides, the floating obstacle course, and the endless daily activities (bingo, crafts, and gem mining were huge hits). It’s rare to find a campground that combines top-tier amenities with first-rate hospitality, but the team here nails it. We will 100% be back!

We absolutely loved all of the outdoor fun we had! The cabin was also perfect sized for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids.We paid for linens, and they were piled on the couch and not put on the beds. We expected to strip the beds at the end, but online showed beds made with linen set. Also did not have any fitted sheets with any of the 5 sets we purchased. This is my only reason for dropping down to 4 stars.

We had a great family vacation at Jellystone this year. I was disappointed how often the resort pool was closed & that the Ranger Station closed at 7:00 on a Friday night. Also the slide could be open more than it was. The beach area had lots of algae so people couldn’t swim. Other than that, it was great!

Overall a decent experience. The setup and design of the park are well thought out and the planned amenities are nice. Where the park fell short was in having the pool shut down for significant portions of our stay. The "lifeguard," who we were told was necessary for the pool to be open, spent more time talking to other individuals and playing basketball with children in the pool than observing those present and swimming. At no point in the several hours we were there did he appear to be appropriately scanning the pool and watching children. Kids were jumping in from the sides of the pool onto other kids without so much as a correction or caution.

We loved our stay at Jellystone and had a great time overall. The staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly doing their best to make sure guests had a positive experience. That said, it was very evident that the campground was understaffed during our visit. The biggest disappointment was that the main pool was closed because there wasn’t a lifeguard available. While we understand that staffing challenges happen, it was a major attraction that many families were looking forward to using. We truly love this campground and have noticed a difference compared to last year. Our hope is that management will provide the support, staffing, and resources needed to help the hardworking employees keep the campground running at the high level of excellence we’ve experienced in the past. We look forward to returning and seeing it thrive again.
