We went to Jellystone a couple years ago and while we still had a lot of fun, I feel like things have gone a little downhill. The staff there were all amazing and had such great attitudes. The activity girls were truly working so hard and going from one activity to the other ALL DAY LONG! I was just disappointed with the lack of employees to keep things up and running. The blow ups on the lake are great but the pools are a real selling point for littles. I was pretty disappointed that the big pool wasn’t open much at all when we were there and then the little pools were SUPER crowded because only one was heated and the other heater was broken. For as much as you pay to stay, especially to tent camp, it was just a big bummer. I know the golf carts are cool but it all feels super out of control and crazy ALL the time. There is no monitoring of who/how they are driven. We had kids riding bikes and were witnessing multiple people drunk while driving around. Not okay.

We were very disappointed this time around. We came last year and it was wonderful but if this trip had been our first we would not have come back. Renting a cabin for a long weekend is not cheap, and to have the amenities not be available with absolutely no communication beforehand was ridiculous. Our kids love the resort pool and for it to only be open a few hours on the first two days and not even on Sunday or Monday of our trip and not finding out until we were already checked in was extremely dissapointing. The water slide was also closed. Our cabin I don’t think has ever been mopped, the bottom of my daughter’s feet turned black just from walking from the bathtub to the bedroom. Our toilet broke on the first day and it took several hours to get fixed. The ice cream shack was only open once while we were there and it was out of every flavor but one. The food truck was out of most of the kids meal items and drinks. Between our family and our friends family that booked two cabins for the second year in a row, we will not be returning next year.

While we had a good time with the train ride and bear visits/events around the park, we were disappointed how much the slide and resort pool were closed.

Bathrooms are dirty. Showers were ICE cold. Pool did not open on time as there was no lifeguard. First time there and was just a little disappointed.

It was not that great. They was under staffed. Pools was not open. Could not ride anything due to under staffed. They charge all that money for things not to be available dye to staff.. We was very unhappy with the visit.

So the stay was good, facility was clean and activities were fun for the kids. But need to get another life guard on duty. The pool being only open for a few hours a day is a no go for me.

For the amount of money we spent on a three day camp site and golf cart to bring our three grandkids to the magical Jellystone, I am hugely DISAPPOINTED!1. The bathrooms were filthy with flooded floors (and were the same for the last two years we’ve visited). It looked like the floors, showers, and toilets had not been cleaned in quite some time. There were three stalls, but one was out of order and the other was plugged and full of stool.2. The only pool that was open our entire stay (except for a few hours late in the day on Saturday when the other one opened up) was up on the deck, and the water was so cloudy it was disgusting. I’m sure this was from the amount of people that were in it. The bathroom at the deck pool was so nasty even my son wouldn’t use it.The second pool opened up for just a few hours late Saturday3. The “beach” area had very little sand that our young grandkids could play in. The entry area of the beach was so full of leaves, moss and slime that they were afraid to go in it because it was slippery and slimy.4. We arrived on Friday and left Monday. During this long weekend the water slide (like the second pool), was only open for a small window on Saturday.Lastly, we had to leave camp to get some supplies, and when we returned we sat in a line of traffic for approx 20 minutes trying to get back in. It seemed the problem was because people had parked their golf carts in front of the deck pool, therefore campers coming in could not pull to the side so others could get by.I do plan to contact Jellystone Park owners to express my concerns.

We just wrapped up an amazing stay at Jellystone Columbus North, and I cannot say enough good things about this park—specifically the staff Kathryn, Greer and The TWINS were amazing people!!We ran into a few unexpected hiccups during our trip, and the team here handled them flawlessly. Instead of leaving us to stress out, the staff stepped in immediately with a polite, helpful, and genuinely caring attitude.Beyond the stellar service, the park itself is a fantastic family getaway. Tucked away in beautiful, mature trees, it feels like a true escape while still being loaded with things to do. The kids were obsessed with the lake, the water slides, the floating obstacle course, and the endless daily activities (bingo, crafts, and gem mining were huge hits). It’s rare to find a campground that combines top-tier amenities with first-rate hospitality, but the team here nails it. We will 100% be back!

We absolutely loved all of the outdoor fun we had! The cabin was also perfect sized for our group of 2 adults and 2 kids.We paid for linens, and they were piled on the couch and not put on the beds. We expected to strip the beds at the end, but online showed beds made with linen set. Also did not have any fitted sheets with any of the 5 sets we purchased. This is my only reason for dropping down to 4 stars.
