We couldn’t miss the chance to let everyone know how much fun this trip was- largely due the the outstanding hospitality of Katherine with a K who works in the Ranger Station. She was such a joy and welcomed our family so lovingly and genuinely seemed excited for us to have a good time- and we did! There is so much to do all the time at Jellystone and our kids + dogs felt so free and happy. The cabin was stellar, the lake was clean, the pool was nice. Thank you Katherine for helping our summer start off with a bang! We will absolutely be back 💕

We got lucky with good weather and the kids had a great time. They wanted us to stay an extra night but we weren't able to. However, we found an open cabin in a few weeks so we booked a return visit.

Great experience visiting Jellystone. Lots of activities for the kids and the staff has always been so nice and helpful. The only complaint I would make is the beach area was in poor state. It could use a little refreshing but overall the stay was great.

The park is nice, clean, and has so many wonderful activities for kids, with plenty of space for adults to spread out at the Wibit park, pool, and other activity areas. There are numerous restrooms throughout the property, all of which appeared clean during our stay. We loved the tent sites, especially being tucked up against the tree line. The main downside was the inconsistent operating hours. We saw online that the store was open until 9 PM, so we went around 8:15 PM to purchase firewood after finishing dinner, only to find the office had already closed. We had specifically waited until after dinner because we thought we had plenty of time. The water slide was also only open during limited afternoon hours, usually around 3 or 4 PM, and one of the pools closed at 3 PM, which seemed like prime time for families to enjoy it after lunch. It was disappointing that some of the amenities we came for weren’t available for more of the day.We also had a less-than-great experience with one of the water slide attendants. He was frequently on his phone and would often yell at the kids when their mats slid out from underneath them and got stuck on the slide. The children would continue sliding after the mat stopped, which was clearly not intentional. He would also repeatedly scold kids for not waiting for him to tell them when to go, even though they were simply watching for the previous rider to reach the bottom. It seemed to make several of the children uncomfortable.Despite these issues, we really do love this campground and absolutely plan to return. I understand that local schools are still in session and staffing may be limited because it’s early in the season. However, we paid about $165 for two nights at a tent site primarily because of the amenities. We even called ahead to confirm the water activities didn’t have age or height restrictions. There was no mention of reduced operating hours, partial amenity availability, or a preseason schedule, and I think having that information available ahead of time would help guests better set expectations and plan their stay.

Our cabin and the campground itself were great! Clean, accessible and the staff was very friendly. However, the inflatable obstacle course on the lake could have used more air. Many of the obstacles were hard to walk on or use as they would deflated as soon as you stepped on them. Also, the large pool was closed for over 1/2 our day we were there due to no lifeguard on duty. This was very disappointing for my kids. We did go to the other pools but only 1 was open as the other was being cleaned. And due to the size of this pool and the other being closed, it was very crowded and not too enjoyable.I understand some of these things are not always easy to solve but overall we enjoyed our stay and made the best of the amenities that were available to us!

Loved the campground and the staff was very kind and helpful. Just wish the larger pool was open more and the smaller pool that we had to use was freezing.

My grandkids like the activities. But had lots of ants in our cabin, I had to throw out a bunch of food, which was disappointing. I told the office about the bugs, someone came in while we were out and put some poison in the kitchen which was fine. But oddly enough we could not find a red lid to one one our plastic tubs when we packed up to leave. We came there with our stuff in 5 large plastic tubs, every tub had a red lid. We kept every tub and lid in the cabin. When we packed up 1 lid was gone. It was either taken by the person dropping off the ant poison or it grew legs and left the cabin.
