The Boo Boo cabin we stayed in was not the cleanest but it was the right size for my family of 4.The water park was perfect for younger kids age 3 & 6. The wave pool was a family favorite.Public bathrooms on the entire campsite are definitely in need of major repairs. There needs to be a better explanation of what is included and what costs extra with all the activities at the recreation center. Not once in our 3 night 5 day stay did we see any of the characters.Overall we will visit Jellystone again but probably not the Mark Twain one.

We enjoyed the campground, use of the golf cart, amenities and activities for the kids. There were lots of things to do. The rain ruined our chance to try the water zone, so we did not get to experience it. It looked really fun though. The roads could use some work with the potholes, the grounds around our campsite were muddy and needed to have some grass seed down. The trees could have been trimmed up around the campsite as well. But, overall we enjoyed it and the kids had a great time! The cartoon café had good food and treats.

We had high hopes but drove away disappointed, was supposed to be a fun getaway but ended up being a watching the clock to check out time so we could go home. Cabin was pretty rough, paid for a cabin with a separate bedroom but the door was so warped you couldn't close it, leaving a solid 6-8inch gap. Bathroom door did not lock or shut properly so it could just be pushed open whenever. Oven was beyond disgusting and we didn't have anything to try and clean it with so no cooking, so much grease an oil in and out that it immediately started smoking when we tried to make dinner, ended up having to drive to Monroe City everday to eat. Main ac didn't work, mini split for bedroom was missing the remote? (Noticed all the other cabins AC was working/On) When maintenance came out all I got was a shrug and sorry. Kid was super hot and did not sleep due to no AC. Mesh on porch was ripped open so any chance of sitting outside without being swarmed on the porch was 0. Not that we cared a whole lot but the Wifi/Cable didn't work until the second night. All campfire wood was soaked but your not allowed to bring your own so... Couldn't really enjoy a fire. Water park was missing a bunch of features for the kiddo but she still had fun since she's under 3. Everyone was super pleasant however throughout the park. I understand it's a cabin but for Hotel prices I would've liked 5-10% more effort for upkeep. Wish I could've gotten a partial refund. We will not be back to the Jelly Stone site after this trip. Just really really let down by the whole experience, we really wanted to have a good time but it didn't happen

Your facility is run down and completely disgusting. We had to request a new cabin because the first was not only dirty but inhabitable. I have sent an email to further explain

We enjoyed our time at the park; however, we were disappointed to see that the "Baby Pool," which includes the Frog/Toad Slide, was still unavailable—just as it was during our visits last year and the year before. We visit Jellystone frequently and would love to see all amenities fully operational and available for guests to enjoy.

Our stay was amazing! We loved that there were so many activities for the kids! All staff members we encountered were just so happy and helpful! They all seemed very excited to be there.BUT...The Ranger Smith Cabins facing the big pond are in desperate need of a deep clean and some updating. I was able to book 2 cabins half price back in January. To be completely honest, I would NOT rent one of those at full price with the condition they are in. We are pretty sure what we saw in Cabin 37 was a cockroach! YUCK!Upon arrival there were already ants which can't be helped all the time.No AC the first night and was very unhappy about that. It was 82 degrees in the cabin!Maintenance said there was staff miscommunication about the issue. We did however have plenty of clean sheets and towels which was unexpected.Over all, if there is another half price deal, we would likely book again.Although we liked the seclusion of the cabins facing the big pond, we would likely try the cabins on the other side of the big pond.Oh and the golf cart rental was a plus, a bit pricey, but it came in handy with the littles when they got tired.

Rv campsite was freshly mowed and clean. Water was clear at the waterpark and everything was in working order besides the purple slide and little kid area. The bathrooms could definitely use some improvements at the campground and waterpark. We usually love the food in the café, but it was barely lukewarm and just not very good this year, so we only ate there once, compared to past years when we would eat there several times. Also while we were in the cafe, there was group of employees arguing in the middle of the cafe over a missing golf cart, which just wasn't professional and shouldn't happen in front of guests. The activities are fun, but need some fine tuning. For example, there was maybe five water guns provided on the water ride so most kids didn't get one, the glow ride was 10 minutes late because there was no driver and then the driver that did show up drove very fast and the ride only lasted maybe 10 minutes (it is usually longer). There was usually music played during the glow ride in the past and usually the wagon had lights on it, but not this year. Riley (who does the activities) is wonderful. This park has so much potential, but just needs some better planning. We will continue to visit, because overall we really enjoy the campground, waterpark, and being so close to the lake, and believe with some minor tweaks, this campground could be amazing!

I mean we my family made the best of it, the water park was fun but the water to me was gross and smelled like pond water when we got out. I asked for wash clothes Friday and Saturday as we stayed in the steamboat inn and there were none when we got there and they never brought us any. When I checked out I told them I asked Friday and Saturday for washcloths, the lady I talked to the day prior pointed behind her and had them at the counter. She said she went to my room and I wasn’t there and didn’t see me anywhere so figured I go back to get them. I said don’t you just put them in the room? She said she wasn’t a housekeeper. Okay. Then I wanted a fountain drink at one point and they were all out of order. A few places take debit card transactions or it’s cash only and the ATMs were down all weekend. Our room we stayed in was dirty. The air conditioner filter, looked like puke behind the toilet, cobwebs and bugs everywhere, someone’s sock under the bed. It was just not good. We stayed at Jellystone in Monticello last year and it was 100x better. Will not be going back to mark twain Jellystone, at all. At breakfast I also asked for two waffles and they did two orders of waffles 🤦♀️.

At 4pm for check in the cabins were not ready and the front desk was very unorganized and not very polite . The cabins were not as clean as they normally are. Pillow cases were dirty. Kitchen had old crumbs in the floor. There was no handsoap and very little dish soap. Those are just a few of the examples. We love coming and have been for 18years now. The prices are rising and I would expect the standards to be at least the same if not more than previous stays.
