Our site was overgrown with weeds. The firepit was surrounded by drs by weeds, The rock area was covered in weeds. Desperately needed lawn care.vehicles flew by our site, well over the speed limit. This was not a campground I was comfortable letting my kids ride bikes around. Lots of teenagers using foul language and hitting golf balls at cars at the mini golf. Parents were there but didn’t care. Waterpark was severely short staffed, few lifeguards if any at attractions. Went to get ice cream 45 min before closing and was told the stopped serving. Even though it all appeared open.

We had site 17. Site was dirty. Weeds tall. Fire ring falling apart. Campsite next to us was a permanent renter and they had trash all over with party lights rite next to our site that our slide outs almost touched them. Tree limbs were dead and hanging down. We had a very difficult time pulling it with the tree limbs hitting the top of our RV. The golf cart we rented was very dirty and had some kind of oil spill on the seats that we had to clean off. The key didn’t match but we were told to go ahead and take it. Water park staff was overwhelmed and short handed. They ran out of hamburgers at 11:30 on Saturday.

Pictures on website are NOT what you get in person. It has the potential to be a great, fun campground but not like any Jellystone we have been to. The grass was not mowed, the lazy river was filthy, needed updating as there was wood going across that was hanging down from rot, parts of the children water area was not working and truly needed an overhaul, the frog water area had no water in it, the restrooms were disgusting with no toilet paper so you could see people were using paper towels in the toilets which were clogged (I refused to use and would drive back to my camper), very very short on staff with condiments non-existent. We were told no water bottles in the water area but yet they didn’t sell water and we had 4 children under the age of 7. The food we ordered was very good, but the wait time was unbelievable due to only 1 girl working the cash register & 2 people cooking. If you wanted to go in the store at the water park you had to let the person know who was checking people in because nobody working it. To purchase items at the camp store (which had great options) took forever & the girl waiting on us did not understand my Yogi rewards card so we spent $620 with no count towards rewards, nor discounts. They should let campers know that you share a water spiquet with another camper & to bring plenty of hose for that. There was nobody the entire stay walking around cleaning up and keeping pool area clean - it was disgusting. It is not at all what we expected. Understand management is new, but if people want recommendations on the campground, it won’t be good. Rented the cute little Range Rover vehicles for 2 of the grandchildren and nobody came out to help. The beverages in the store and snack shop were bare. There is lots of money to be made if resourced and stocked properly.

Sites were nice and spacious. Activities were fun. Some of the staff didn’t quite seem to know enough about the scheduled of events if we asked questions they weren’t sure of the answers. The campsite bathroom facilities for the women were nice however the men’s were not toilet seats were broken. It was hard to find a trash can, the policy and leave trash at the end of the campsite, only led to trash being gotten into overnight by animals.Waterpark was fun however the bathroom was quite a mess.

Everything was pretty good but our experience at the cafe was less than average. They couldn't seem to get our food cooked correctly and we sat there for a very long time. Then they ended up getting the order wrong anyway. The potholes have been an issue for quite a few years and the kiddy pool was not full and the toddler pool looked quite dirty. Other than that, everything else was pretty good

We stayed in an rv spot this past weekend for two nights. Lucky for us we live close but had we traveled far, I would have been very upset. When we arrived the staff were friendly but had no answers. We were given no information about hookups at the site. Once we got to the site we could find the water only to to find out we had to share with the neighbor, luckily he was there and was able to unhook his water and had a two way spilt. Otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to access the water at all, we received no information on this prior to check in or at check in to be prepared. It says online full hook up.The water park left a lot to be desired, the lazy river way very dirty with floating bloody bandaid and exposed beams and wires above. Very minimal floats for the lazy river or wave pool. We offered food and after it was ready they informed us they had no ketchup or any other sauces for dipping. So we had plain chicken and undercooked fries. The bathrooms were horrible, one child in our group couldn’t even go and was gagging about to vomit from the smell. As we left a handicapped man was sitting out side the women’s restroom rubbing his penis very noticeably. We asked the staff about security or a manager and she said there wasn’t one and would try to tell someone. Very scary. The nightly activities were listed on the site and we asked three people where these take place and what time and no one knew. We were told the water park, pool, and in front of the gas station. Know one had details or knew a time, we needed up seeing the parade go by and kids we bummed they were not included, then we could here the party start up towards the front around 10 after we settled the kids because we didn’t know. We went to the cafe for ice cream and they had none. Kids were so upset. Spent some time at the camp pool which was fine over all until the laundry inside the building got going, all the soap water pours out into the pool area with every load. We asked questions and struggled to find any answers at all. We also didn’t see the night time movie played any night we stayed. That whole area needs some updating. Just kind of disappointed all around for the fee we paid and the stuff we were promised. The photos and details on the website are no where near what is actually there.

When we arrived to our site, the electric wasn't working, so it started out rough. But everything was mostly good after that. I didn't love the difference in picnic tables and fire pits at every site. That should be a standard thing. I know there isn't much you can do, but people need to keep better control of their kids. These children driving golf carts around alone is crazy, unsafe and they are rude. We also had a kid ride his bike down our putting green as we were putting. I do really love the shop and the food choices.

My only e complaints were the running out of food at the cafe Saturday evening. The grill at our campsite was full of cigarette butts. The fire pit was partially broken and trash was left behind in it. There was also dog poop left behind as well.

The park needs some serious upgrades. Having the share a water hydrant with the neighboring site is ridiculous. The smell of sewer was always there. The amount you charge for a stay should mean a decent site.
