Wish my cabin was not the only one without a fire pit

Authoritarian with the rules. Bigger kids were being more reckless, no adults around. While I was supervising my two young kids, they were the ones getting in trouble. Poorly announced activities, grumpy rangers at the station, bathroom or comfort station was out of order. Jellystone in Grayling was a much better experience, will probably never come back to Port Huron location.

Everything was shut down. Office staff blamed it on being short staffed but there was plenty of staff riding around of golf carts and walking around that at least the splash pad could have been opened at bare minimum. It was a big waste of money because our kids had nothing to do except play at the playground, which I could’ve done at home instead of dropping hundreds of dollars on a weekend

1st time visiting. The park seems like it could be a great place for the kids to have fun unfortunately when we went nothing was open they had all amenities and even heated pools closed. So kids couldn't really enjoy it. We weren't notified that anything would be closed nor wasn't offered any compensation or a chance to reschedule. Wish we could've experienced the park at its best. Also daughter was hoping to see Yogi and wake him up but he wasn't there. The 1st day we were 6 mins late to see Cindy Bear and as my daughter went to run to Cindy she quickly left. Was told they would appear for 15 mins which wasn't the case the 1st day.

Beatrice at the front desk was rude and confrontational at the front desk on the day of check out when attempting to discuss a late check out. I have been going to Jellystone for years and never had a negative experience with an employee until my interaction with her.Outside of the negative experience with Beatrice… our family had a great time and will be back!

The park is absolutely beautiful, but the vibe is off. It was very slow and nothing was open as far as activity goes. My experience was the staff was slightly unprofessional as they had one young female that didn’t know a whole lot pretty much running everything. Throughout the park, there was major potholes in the ground that caused trap hazards for the people and animals that I was with. On my campsite from the cement patio to the grass. There was a huge pothole that my niece fell and broke her leg. These inconveniences made a huge family trip as we rented 5 cabins and a campsite sp2 under whelming. Our family made the best of the time but was not the best experience

This was probably one of the most frustrating and disappointing trips I’ve taken. To start, we check in go to the cabin and there are cobwebs all over as well as our lock on our screen door was just gone. The remote for the air conditioner had no batteries which I called down to get new ones and eventually got them the next day in the afternoon. The prices that are charged for the cabins is astronomical to not even have cobwebs dusted. We didn’t say anything got our swim stuff on and went to the pool. Only to find out, on the beautiful 80 degree day, it was closed. I went there for the waterpark. It was closed due to a chemical imbalance. We were celebrating our son’s 5th birthday and that was the reason we booked it. No one mentioned it when we checked in so we just had to find out ourselves. They offered us the witbit for free so we took advantage of that however we were also not informed if the temps dropped below 65 degrees it would also be closed. So the next day, it was 56. My boys love the water and would have been in it anyways. It was also closed on Sunday when we left it was 71 degrees. In addition, Saturday the bounce thing was closed until 11 due to needing a patch. I understand things happen and weather is unpredictable. However, the pool and waterpark being closed is unacceptable. We should have been offered something for compensation for this inconvenience. My brother in law was offered 25% off in the gift shop. To purchase more items. I would like to be refunded our stay. I feel it was way over priced for having nothing open and the cabin was not up to standards. We talked about coming back each year as a family. I never want to visit another yogi bear again.
