Cabin was nice , pool was nice, beach was dirty with a lot of animals/birds feces. Maybe have someone clean it daily so the beach will look better

The water amenities were great, but I was disappointed by several other factors. We had a couple of poor interactions with an employee named Ireland. She was rude, I witnessed her yelling at other campers, and she wouldn’t look others in the eye when they spoke to her. She was extremely unfriendly. She started one of the bear events early (it started at 9, we got there at 8:58). My kids got up to the bear at 9:01 and she was rushing us out saying the bear had to go. When we tried to book a bear visit, she had the store closed during open hours. The Tye dye event was poorly planned and an absolute zoo. There were not any kids sizes and people were ripping shirts off the wall like it was a Black Friday special. The WiFi didn’t work and there was no cellular service, which concerned me for being able to call 911.While we loved the water amenities, the activities were subpar compared to other jellystone parks and the customer service was disappointing.

Our stay was excellent, however, we really were not able to use our firepit or picnic area due to all of the goose feces around the lake. You really should clean this up for your guests or atleast leave a rake at the campsites. This was disappointing.Other than above, out family had an excellent time. We will be returning next year.

Best place to camp in Michigan for kids/families. Love all the activities for kids. The dog park is also a plus. This campground does everything right. I feel very safe having my kids ride bikes here. It would be nice if food trucks came, at least on the weekends.

Everything was great except the “jumping pilloows” were broken/ripped and the “water war” game also wasn’t working.

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your campground. We had reservations for Site 345 from June 28 through July 7, but due to the overall conditions of the park, we chose to leave early on the morning of July 4. We selected your campground because it is marketed as a family friendly destination. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that expectation. Throughout our stay, the park appeared poorly maintained. There was trash scattered throughout the grounds, including half-eaten sandwiches, pepperoni slices, smashed mini liquor bottles, and dog waste. These conditions created an unpleasant environment and raised concerns about the overall cleanliness of the property. We also observed numerous adults repeatedly walking directly through our campsite, showing little respect for campers’ personal space. In addition, it was common to see individuals who appeared to be intoxicated operating golf carts throughout the campground, creating what we felt was an unnecessary safety risk. The smell of marijuana was also pervasive throughout the park for much of our stay. The pool area was equally disappointing. The water was noticeably cloudy, popsicle wrappers and other trash were left around the pool deck, and adults were floating on inflatable tubes in the toddler splash pad without any apparent enforcement of the rules. Most concerning was the lack of attentiveness from the lifeguards assigned to the water slides. On multiple occasions, they stood together talking amongst themselves rather than actively monitoring the children using the attractions. As a parent, that was extremely unsettling. We understand that no campground is perfect and that busy holiday weekends present additional challenges. However, basic cleanliness, safety, and supervision should never be compromised, especially at a campground that promotes itself as a family destination. Regrettably, this experience fell far below our expectations and ultimately caused us to cut our vacation short. We ended up finding another Jellystone that promotes itself as a family friendly park and absolutely lives up to that expectation. I hope you will take these concerns seriously and address them so that future families receive the experience your marketing promises. I would appreciate a response regarding how these issues will be addressed and whether any consideration will be given for the portion of our reservation we were unable to use because we felt compelled to leave early.

When we arrive at Jellystone, we had something mechanically wrong with our camper, and almost weren’t able to put the slides out, or the stands down. By the end of the Fourth of July weekend, we had no power in the camper (again our fault mechanically), so we went to the office and asked for assistance. Ryan came out to our site and worked diligently in the rain, trying to figure out a way to get our stabilizer bars back up and our slides back in. After a long while he got it all accomplished, a man named Scotty also assisted at the end. We attempted to tip the men for all of their hard work, especially on a holiday weekend, the both declined the cash. My deepest regards to both them for working so diligently in the rain, if they wouldn’t accept a gratuity from us, I am hoping that Jellystone takes care of them with a bonus or paid time off, that they greatly deserve. Thank you.
