The park used to be packed with campers and big activities. The last few years the experience is worse and worse. The few employees seem nice enough but the organization is lacking. Shocked to see one of the bounce pads is still down. The one that remains is still damaged with a huge lump and a hole. Teens were using it to cover in rocks and lay on it the entire weekend so the littles never got to bounce. Children unable to use as teenagers were laying on it and putting rocks on it everyday. Benches were removed from playground and only one small bench at the bounce pad. They made a good attempt at Father’s Day breakfast it started much later than scheduled so we had to leave. The place was a blast 5 or 6 years ago. It seems focus has been shifted to cabins and the only th8nk really organized was the camp store which was packed full of clothes and trinkets to buy. Like a commercial setting for a store which would be fine if everything matched that setup/perfection but sadly it doesn’t. The park is already pricey, golf cart rental and $11 firewood per bundle. It’s not surprising why the park has only a camper or two in every year ow instead of full. Focus used to be on the small town atmosphere. The employees were nice hard working local kids. There were very few employees and they were just running in circles presenting activities that didn’t have the proper equipment or supplies. I’m not sure what has resulted in so many drastic changes without focusing on the basics that used to bring us all to north port Huron. Sad

It was just okay. Not a fan of the location of hookups at the site. When we arrived, there was a lot of grass clippings on the site and flies everywhere. There is a lot of standing water and wetness around the campground even a day after a moderate rain. The miniature golf course should probably be closed as it needs a lot of repairs. Also, there, was a lot of confusion around the wibit area with some kids staying on excessively long and others being kicked off short of their time.Nice amenities are included at other KOA/Jelly stone parks but not here. With so many workers driving around on golf carts, why can’t they deliver the firewood? $10 per bundle is way on the high side. And 10 minimum to deliver is ridiculous. We’ve camped at over 30 campgrounds, from state campgrounds to very high end RV parks in the last 3 years. Everything here just felt overpriced.

Cute activities, we were excited about all the things for the kids to do, but the pool was absolutely freezing, making it hard to keep the kids wanting to go in. The splash park didn’t open on Saturday so we couldn’t take advantage of that. The showers in the back comfort station were freezing as well. Honestly if we didn’t have friends there to stay with and use their camper we would have left early.

They had lots of water activity. Also had fun making ice cream. The spot that they lacked it’s getting out multiple bears that’s what they did last year and brought us back. My boy was bummed he never got to see yogi. Over all was a good trip could definitely tell they needed help with hiring a few more people.

The site was beautiful, grassy and large lots. But the pros stop there. The campground was so large that renting a golf cart was almost a necessity but the cost for daily rental was ridiculous and then it could only be rented after 4pm and then returned by 11am the next day. That was not worth $74. The putt-putt course was in shambles, very dirty and quite literally falling apart. Of the three bathroom stalls in the women’s restroom there were constantly two out of order (one had an out of order sign and the other was clogged). We wanted to invite friends to visit us for the day but told them not to come when we learned that they would be charged $30 per person. Not at all worth it. The campground was decent but nothing close to being worth what you are charged. The amount of vacant sites is a telltale sign that this place isn’t going to be around for long. You don’t need more activities, you need to make what you already have affordable.

We enjoyed our stay very much! There were a few housekeeping issues with the cabin… fyi. The fridge froze items on the top shelf. There was only a small fry pan and no orher pans ( we were brought a couple small pans after we asked what was suppose to be in the cabin). No strainer no cookie sheets. No tv connection so could not use it.

Employees young and don’t tend to care. Not very welcoming. Pool was freezing and filthy. Splash pad was even colder for the kids.

Great amenities but very expensive. The firewood was $10 a bundle and the inflatable in the beach area was $20 an hour

The facility was beautiful and the staff were great! It was a little windy where our sight was. I wish we would’ve picked a different one. A little further inland against the trees Lake Kieran is no joke across the street.
