Our family had a lot of fun camping. The cozy cabin wasn't fancy, but it was a nice place to sleep with air conditioning. We didn't spend too much time inside the cabin, but it would have been nice if our tv had worked, since we had to eat inside one morning due to rain. I liked that our cabin was near the woods so it was pretty shaded and proximity to the bathroom was nice. We enjoyed that there were activities to do, although I didn't love that most of them were extra fees. The theme was disappointing. I thought there'd be more to the "honky tonk" theme than just a couple of table decorations at the craft station. My biggest complaint is the firm 4pm check-in time, and the fee for trying to check in early, even a half hour early. I worked hard to save up for my trip, and I don't appreciate being nickel-and-dimed at every corner, so my family and I had to sit in the gift shop for two hours before we were allowed inside the park, which meant we lost valuable time on our short trip.I would still camp at Jellystone, but knowing all the negative aspects now, I would definitely be better prepared for the things I found disappointing.

We had a great time in a Boo Boo Bungalow. The cabin was stocked with plates, silverware and cooking utensils in the kitchen. Toilet paper and paper towels were also provided. Everyone was friendly and quiet. Only thing we noticed was on the app, the activities for the day were different than what was on the board by the Rec Center. Overall it was a great experience with lots of things for the kids to do. We will be back again.

We have been camping here for about 8 years and at one point even held a seasonal site. This was our first year bringing friends and what a disappointment. Firstly, the brakes didn’t work on our golf cart, which also had a huge hole in the roof. We remember when the golf carts were brand new so the condition of them now was a surprise, especially for the cost. The employee who helped us with that issue was wonderful, I wish I had gotten her name, there were no more 6 seaters left, she gave us (2) 4 seaters at no extra charge. However, these were also in terrible condition and one even died on us while driving even though it said it was charged. Next, the pool is no longer heated, meaning all the swim areas were FREEZING to the point that even the kids didn’t want to be in the water. On Saturday, we signed up for the wibit. They didn’t start handing out life jackets until our start time, 2:00. Our group and several others were told there weren’t enough life jackets, but the wibit would also be closed after the 2:00 session for another activity. This was completely unacceptable. How do you expect young children to stand in line and wait to then be told they can’t go on for 2-3 more hours? Luckily our children were allowed on because WE had brought coast guard approved swim devices for our own children, but we still didn’t make it on until 20 minutes past our start time, as well as the rest of our group had been on for 20 minutes without us. While on the beach, workers had randomly come out yelling and blowing their whistles that even adults had to have life jackets to be in the water. This is not on the list of rules on the website or anywhere in the swim area. They did say we could use the wibit life jackets, but there aren’t even enough life jackets for people paying for the wibit. We later saw about the four year old drowning, which is awful, and if rules will be changed for safer precautions, then why isn’t that listed anywhere? We of course had brought swim devices for our CHILDREN, but I never would think to pack life jackets for adults unless we were planning a boating trip. Had we known adults needed life jackets to be in the water, we likely wouldn’t have came to the location at all. The staff were all teenagers who were in over their heads. We over heard one young lady tell an upset parent “this is my first day, I don’t know what to tell you” over the wibit life jackets. By the water slides, we saw one life guard who constantly had her back turned to the kids play area talking to a coworker. Every so often she would blow her whistle to tell kids to go down the slide one at a time. We finally approached her after she blew the whistle at our child and told her the kids were going down one at a time, almost every single person, adult or child, were getting stuck on the slides due to the water flow, causing people to crash into one another. She apologized and said she didn’t realize that. Well no wonder, her back was turned 90% of the time while she chatted away with her coworker. Our whole experience was a shock and disappointing compared to how this campground used to be. Us and our friends both pulled out a day early, and we will both be canceling our trip that is scheduled for July.

Would be a great park if they upkeep the beach, pool, splash pad, waterpark, volleyball court, putt putt and jumping pad. All need maintenance and attention.

Cabins were nice and clean. Had staffing issues and everything was closed when we went. I don't know why we were given wristbands since nothing was available.
