Staff was very friendly and helpful. Addressed hot water issue in cabin promptly and made sure we had what we needed.Only negative input would be allowing day pass people to access pool/slide area on what seemed like an extremely busy holiday. Was to crowded for young kids (8-10yrs old).

We recently stayed at site 219 and 218, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing campground experiences we’ve had. Considering what this campground charges, we expected a much better experience. The first issue was our campsite itself. Site 218 was extremely unlevel, making it difficult and time-consuming to get our camper set up correctly. For the premium price they charge, I would expect campsites to be properly graded and maintained. The roads throughout the campground were another major problem. Many of them were washed out and in rough condition, making it difficult to drive through the park comfortably. It feels like basic maintenance has been neglected. We also ran into maintenance issues at campsite 219. The water spigot was broken off and actually had to use a pair of pliers just to turn the water on. That is something campers should never have to deal with. One of the biggest disappointments was the giant jumping pillow. My kids always look forward to it. It’s advertised as one of the park’s attractions, but it wasn’t operating during our stay. When you’re paying resort prices, you expect the advertised amenities to be available and in working order. What really pushed this experience over the edge was learning that, after already paying a premium for our campsite, campers are expected to pay an additional $9 per person, per day just to use the pool and water park. That was a huge surprise and made an already expensive trip feel even more overpriced. At a campground like this, those amenities should be included in the camping fee or, at the very least, made much more obvious before booking.Overall, this campground simply doesn’t provide the value its prices suggest. Between the unlevel campsite, washed-out roads, broken or unusable amenities, maintenance issues like the faulty water spigot, and the extra daily charge for the pool and water park, we left feeling like we spent far more than the experience was worth. We won’t be returning, and unfortunately I can’t recommend it to others. There are many campgrounds that are better maintained, include more amenities in the price, and provide a much better overall camping experience for less money.

Pros: Great for family fun! Many like minded families trying to enjoy time with the kids. The activities throughout the day are fun, the pool and splash pad are fun, riding around on the golf cart, and the lake is all fun for the kids. Side note - BRAD!! He’s a teenage worker and is absolutely amazing. He works hard and has the best attitude to make sure families enjoy the best experiences during their vacation.Cons: Bedding in the cabins. When you pay about $200/night you expect to be able to sleep on the mattresses provided. Well, you won’t. So no sleep for the parents does not help with the busy days ahead. Bring a topper for the mattress and your own pillows. It’s camping so treat it like tent camping, even in a cabin. Very few utensils, towels, or any amenities you’d read about on their website being provided. We had about 2 of everything (spoons, knives, forks, etc…) and there were 5 of us. It’s not cleaned well so don’t expect a fresh rental cabin near or on the lake. It’s a covered room with a bath/shower and excellent AC so way better than a tent but nothing compared to most places that charge that much for a room. Most of the park is run by teenagers. They are friendly and willing but they’re not trained well and basically left on their own to run things. Not many adults around so parents need to be present at all times with younger children, which is expected anyway, but some situations occur and no adult can be found. It’s just teens trying to figure out what to do in a jam. Not that they’re not willing or nice it’s just they’re not trained well. You can imagine this. You walk into a cabin that seems very clean, smells clean and has a very nice welcoming atmosphere. Everything else you experience you probably won’t pay much attention to; like a cheap mattress. However, when you walk into a dirty cabin, cobwebs and food on the front porch, open the door and it’s very stale. Open the refrigerator to put your groceries in and there’s crumbs on the shelving and in the drawers. Walk into the bathroom and there’s water stains/lime covering the sink faucet that could likely be easily removed with lime cleaner. The couch has crumbs and sand all over it. Make your way into the master bedroom and lay down in the mattress. You can feel every single springs and they “pop” with every move. They poke into you no matter how you lay. You’re basically ready to leave as soon as you get there.Side note - I went to the registration desk first thing after we slept there our first night. Two teenage girls working the desk and I tried to ask about the mattress situation. They said they would send housekeeping. I could have turned around and left but I knew they had no clue who I was or what cabin I was in. So I asked them where they would send housekeeping and they giggled. Then they asked what cabin I was in. I asked to speak with someone over housekeeping and they told me it was them. So I argued my case about the mattress and they assured me someone from house keeping would come check. No one ever came.

-Brought my own golf cart, but couldn't use it.. the park charges $74 per day to rent "their" carts. They said i had to be handicapped because Im guessing that makes a difference in golf cart driving.- went to play bingo and discovered we had to bring our own Candy to basically win it back from the park.- zero wifi or internet at the campsites.- there's laundry available but 90% of the machines are broken and theres NOWHERE on the campground to get quarters.- Once I was able to get quarters somewhere else, the dryers didn't work and I had to hang a clothes line inside my RV overnight for clothes to dry.- Mini golf was free.. GREAT! Oh I forgot to mention there are not enough golf balls for more than about 8 ppl to play so we were out of luck.- The mini golf course was also in VERY bad shape.

Wish they were stricter in the pool. No jumping, diving, flips. My two year old was landed on several times. No food IN the pool (there was pizza floating in the water). Also wish they did a daily trash pick up. We didn’t rent a golf cart so we had to unhook and drive to the dumpster daily. Otherwise it was a decent stay.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and our kids had a great time. We spent the vast majority of out time at the splash pad and pool. There were a few things that keep me from giving a 5 star rating: the floor of our cabin was very dirty upon arrival; the water in the shower kept cycling between freezing cold and hot; almost all of the interactive water play elements at the splash pad were broken (as they were when we last visited 2 years ago); the parking brake barely worked on our golf cart (we brought it to the staff's attention, and they shrugged it off); the jumping pad was deflated; the putt-putt area is completely worn out.None of these things are deal breakers, but they did have an effect on our trip. The staff was friendly, and the grounds are so pretty. I hope the management will put some money into repairs to enhance the guests' experiences.
