The upkeep is not good. My villa was dirty! The shower is nasty there's nothing new. My mattress is stained and ripped. The floors need mopping not just swept. The pots and pans should of been thrown away 5 years ago. Maybe a new picnic table would be nice. The walls need painting. For the money per night. You could put some money back into villa 1A

Use to come here 20 years ago every year with my family and cousins. Fully enjoyed sharing the same magic and adventure with my daughter and her cousin đź’•

Staff was great and very accommodating when we needed to switch sites. Unfortunately, we felt the pools, slides, lazy river were in need of some cleaning and upgrading. For the price we paid to stay- we felt the water activities need some improvement.

Came to check in and the front office asked if I had ever been there before and I replied with a no. They handed me the packet and that was it. I thought maybe they would tell me some stuff being I had never been. When I went to check out the drop box was wide open and not locked up and it was 8:50 am. The door said the front office opened at 9 but I figured I’d see if it was open and it was. The lady working at the desk was so rude and said we aren’t open for another 10 minutes as they were sitting in there having social hour. I said ok well I can come back but I don’t want to leave my keys in the Dropbox because it’s wide open and unlocked and she got all flustered and said well I guess you are already here but we don’t open for 10 more minutes. Definitely could have front desk staff work on customer service skills since that is the starting point and ending point of someone’s expensive vacation.

Cons: The waterpark is disappointing. Lazy river pump didn’t work, it was dirty with bugs and gross. Kids basketball hoops broken and not replaced, bottom of pool in waterpark is rough and scratches your feet, plus it’s stained a gross color.Pros: more character appearances was nice.

Had a nice stay. We brought our own camper and was able to easily access our site.Bummed that the water slides(blue and racer) were down as there was new lifeguard trainings going on. Also, the wave/lazy river didn’t have the waves going. Not sure if it was broken or something else was going on.Lots of kids buzzing around with their electric scooters super fast.Had great weather and our site had trees for shade as it was hot.Was able to get a golf cart and loved being able to drive around and tour the whole resort.

This place has gone down hill. From weeds in the landscape and pool deck to trash every where to broken bathrooms and the wave pool and hot tubs not working, golf course was full of sticks and leaves nobody blew it off very disappointing in cleanliness

We had a great time and were so impressed by all the new amenities since our last visit 19 years ago, but yet still has all the same original fun that we enjoyed when we were kids. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family!I'm only sharing the negatives so they can be addressed for improvement to give the best experience. It did not ruin our stay, just things that need attention. It was disappointing to see the lack of use of the Wibit's as they are a super fun addition at many campgrounds now. Having an additional fee and time slot deters many people from using them. If a fee is necessary, please consider an optional and reasonable per person fee for the whole stay. We would have paid $15 per kid for our whole stay for unlimited use of Wibits, but opted out when it was time regulated and a one time use.The waves in the wave pool were non operational, and the hot tub and kiddy area were taped off part of one day and looked brown or water scaled. They were up and running later but the discoloration did not make it inviting.Nobody was working at the mini golf stand which is completely fine except that the balls were all gone. I located a worker who paged the Activities team, but after 15 min, nobody showed up, so we moved on. If Hole 18 could be diverted back into a bucket on the outside of the hut that would eliminate this issue. I understand staffing this is unnecessary.Lastly, we made a last minute decision to camp after the weather was not looking good on our original plans. I tried to book the night before was unable to in less than 48 hours. The morning of I was busy getting our camper ready to go and planned to call as soon as we got on the road. I called 2.5 hours before our arrival and was told it was too late to book but we could just show up and go to the office when we arrived. Of course we were worried that we would drive all the way there and not have a site available. I was searching for other campgrounds as a backup and would have been able to book for same day. I am not sure why a campsite can't be booked online up until arrival when it doesn't require much prep work. Thankfully all worked out!Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful time and the kids were begging to stay and extra night. We look forward to returning!!

First time here. Campsite was nice. Glow golf cart parade was awesome. Cable didn’t work. 30amp breaker was worn out. Wave pool never worked. Lazy river water level low, water dirty, warm and full of bugs. Hot tubs not working. Main pools full of dead bugs, sand. Water cloudy. Sunday no water slides working. Said all life guards in training. Mini golf had no golf balls. No attendants to monitor equipment or people. Sunday pizza oven broke. Couldn’t get any food. 3 poolside food shacks were never open. Cement cracking and falling off walls. Poorly managed water park. Campsite would be very nice if cable worked and breaker would stay on. Has potential to be nice if it was maintained.
