I made reservations one year in advance for a cabin with 3 adults. We get there to check in and the reservation was showing only 1 adult. The young girls at the check in were not accommodating or friendly. I asked why would I reserve a cabin that big for 1 person? We ended up having to pay an additional $85 on top of the $1,400 we already paid. Completely ridiculous.

We like the park as older folks we do not use the water. We are there for our kids and grandkids. We wish you guys had different colored wristbands and a cheaper rate for us. It just isn’t worth the kind of money we have to pay for not using any of the waterpark just our camper.

My family has been going to this campground for over 50 years. It is extremely expense and some of my family members had to make the decision not to go because they couldn’t afford it. Plus our neighbor campers had 4 dogs that weren’t on leashes and barked nonstop. The grass on our site wasn’t mowed either. Also, the landscaping and greens on the mini golf course is getting out of control.

It would have been perfect, but the late night fireworks and the 11:15pm golf carts honking and playing music disrupted our family. Dogs and little ones got scared. Took a while to calm them down.

Respectfully, I was disappointed with our experience this year.Several of the amenities we were looking forward to weren’t available. The adult hot tub was closed, the wave pool wasn’t working, and many of the concession stands were closed. Until the last day of our stay, there were only about four ice cream flavors available, and even the coolers where you purchase drinks were often empty. We ended up spending a lot of money at the gas station next door because they had pizza, ice cream, and drinks fully stocked. It honestly seemed like there was a lack of organization when it came to keeping food and beverage items available. There also weren’t any mini donuts at the movie nights, and the floating cabanas on the lake had been removed, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the cabins we stayed in were much cleaner than they were last year, and we really appreciated that improvement. If we decide to come back, I’ll be calling ahead to confirm that the amenities are operating and that the food and beverage options are fully stocked. It’s frustrating to have to make repeated trips to Walmart and Aldi because the campground is out of basic items. If I were managing the property, keeping food, drinks, and concessions well stocked would be a top priority.

This weekend was a last hoorah / reunion from bringing families and kids there since 2009 - the kids are all grown and getting married, moving out and etc. it was great to see the park and be there. Change is inevitable so we had to make some things we cherished happen ourselves, which was great. Wished the train ran longer - missed that when it only ran from 10-2 with no bears riding along throughout park. Big Blue is blue again, which is fantastic! The new racer slides were great. Lazy River was so dirty - needs a good cleaning and filter. The mini golf was full of leaves from last fall - a quick run through with leaf blower would not take long and be tremendous. We had to do a bunch of landscaping along the way. Activities were good and the Saturday night DJ kids did well - but would be nice if you had different playlists. It was almost the same as Friday night.Bathrooms were clean and overall it was a great weekend.

Check in was incredibly slow. The line behind us was blocking the road. The employee had to make up our packet while we waited. We weren’t given keys at check in. We had to go back to wait in line to get them and the employee argued with us about already giving us the keys. We then had to wait for over 90 minutes for keys to be cut and delivered to us, causing us to miss the trivia event. Concession stands were closed or out of food every time we went. The adult hot tub was closed. Lazy River was dirty and we had to inflate our own tubes because they were all flat. The cabin curtains were sheer and there was nothing to cover the window in the door, resulting in no privacy for changing clothes. There was a huge gap under the door and you could see light coming in between the window frames, allowing bugs and mice in.

We love the variety of activities Yogi Bear Park has to offer. Our accommodations were good overall - we loved the big deck between RC1 and RC2, just a couple notes that could help for those staying in the future. RC2 toilet moves back and forth every time someone sits down on it. Appeared to be mold behind the toilet area so that may be affecting the flooring. Would highly recommend staying at that cabin if the bathroom was remedied! One other thing to note would be the trees outgrowing the deck holes, which may end up killing the trees in the long run which would be a huge loss to those cabins and the shade and privacy they give the cabins now. Overall, great experience and enjoyed our time away!

I feel like the campground could do some major upkeep on the swim area. It's very dingy and falling apart. The wave pool was out of order and we were not informed of that. The directions to the check in site was VERY confusing. When I went to pick up my golf cart the attendees were not getting along and one was very rude to the male that was asking her questions. We rented a cabin and could not use the oven due to whoever cleaned it last didn't finish cleaning it so there was white residue all over it, I didn't want to have that stuff in my food. The person that was driving the train did a fantastic job! His attitude was wonderful.

There was so much to do we needed to stay more days to see everything but we were not impressed by all the traffic and fast moving golfcarts/ electric bikes and scooters. Quite time we were told was not till 1130 pm thats way too late for most families with kids which is what I figured the park was for and not 21+ bachelor bachelorette parties screaming at all hours of the night.
