We had a great time! We are planning to go back. You might want to consider having better road signage and hooks and or bench in the showers. It was very difficult without.

Our cabin is a boo boo cabin and has not stove or oven. The reservationist also did not mention that it did not have a shower. The front steps are broken leading in to the cabin. Staff is not friendly. Where we normally sing songs and laugh and wave onthe hey ride this was a teenage boy who NEVER looked up from his phone and didn’t even bother to speak to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at Jellystone Park! My grandchildren loved the activities (especially the water park), and I would recommend this place to anyone with children.

Unfortunately I feel the negatives can really upset your stay. I’ll start with positives.Positives - the property (new section) is gorgeous. The pool is amazing. Water slides, kids splash slides area is awesome and very big compared to most. Lots of splash areas especially for littles (toddlers). The laundry room was very nice. Bathrooms were great. The store near the pool and cafe was very pretty and stocked with everything. The cafe was nice and had a good selection of food. Also the food was actually pretty good for concession food. The grounds were well kept and clean. We were at site 210 and it was a really good spot to walk down to pool.Negatives - first thing is employees. I am guessing management is awful to work for or they must not pay good. Everyone was SO MISERABLE. My husband checked in and was informed of nothing. Didn’t have any clue of trash pickup or if we took our trash to the dumpsters. Usually check in your informed of the ins and outs of the property and activities etc. (thankfully we’ve stayed at Jellystone properties so I knew they had an app to find out activities) so moving on to the cafe. The lady was the most miserable person ever. I don’t think she smiled once. She was the only one working. Took about 30 minutes in line to order. She was handling everything (ice cream orders, popcorn orders, drink orders, food getting called out) which the food she’d just let it sit in the pickup window for minutes (while getting cold) NEED MORE WORKERS. One cook in the kitchen (again need more workers) I’m guessing this whole situation is poor management.Went to get donuts in the morning at the donuts activity. The girl forgot our order after waiting 45 minutes for the donuts. Also after that they said they couldn’t even make the orders. They didn’t run out they just didn’t care. I got my money back and had to drive to Walmart. My kids were starving. Again miserable workers. Yogi came out which was fun but barely waved or wasn’t excited around the kids. I don’t know if y’all are aware but you are a Jellystone property which kids are SO excited to be at and do all the activities. The activities were a bust. They weren’t prepared or the girls working didn’t want to do them. We went to the slime event and they said “they didn’t have enough slime to make” which is odd because we were the only ones to show up for it. Again the girls didn’t smile. At a property like Jellystone you need to have people that want to engage with the kids and that are happy. All the activities are at the old park Rec Center. Which the old park and new park aren’t connected. You have to go out the gate of the new park and reenter at the old park thru another gate. It’s a hassle. Also do not recommend staying at the old area it’s a little more run down. Also the park needs street signs so you know where you’re going. It was hard to find your site and know which road you were on.This park has the full potential to be a really awesome experience but with employees like we experienced it was upsetting. Hope yall can work on this. The new section is gorgeous and the atmosphere was breathtaking.

The camp site was once of one of the old ones. It wasn’t level and very cramped We had tents next door that was only a few feet from the picnic table. Other than that the place was great

We had a good time overall, but was very disappointed with some of the things we encountered during our stay. The Wi-Fi did not work in our cabin, so our children could not watch TV or us connect to any platform to listen to music or anything. No service extended outside of the cabin as well into the entire park. While I do love an unplugged vacation, with small children It’s just not practical so this was upsetting. Our cabin was nice, but the plug in the bathroom did not work and the stove took us 45 minutes on high to cook bacon so we could not cook the meals we planned. I did my hair in the kitchen because the plug issue. The golf cart we rented and paid for prior was broken. My husband has a video of the buckle mechanism, not even being attached to the golf cart on the back. That is where my children were, and in the event of an accident, they would not have been safe. It also never went about 5 miles an hour and when on site staff was asked, it was “that’s just how they are” but we clearly knew something was wrong. Our other issue was the cabana we rented in advance of the party through calling the number online. I had a confirmation number and a reservation where I booked it but the day we got to the pool (7/11) to use it - our name was not on the list in their book. It was double booked. There were 5 cabanas (of that style) but 7 people paid to reserve them. I understand there was a disconnect from the Home office and the local branch. It was a simple misunderstanding and was corrected after about an hour, but it was still upsetting. The final thing I have a complaint on is the lightning policy. We rented that cabana on Saturday and paid $130 to do so, after the trouble of getting in the cabana, everyone was called out of the pool due to lightning. I understand the safety side of things completely- that is not my complaint! The complaint is we were only able to be in the cabana while the pool was open and the pool was closed over half the day on Saturday so the money we paid for the cabana almost seemed wasted because they would not allow us to be in the cabana while the pool was closed or raining. In situations like these, I would typically just turn on a movie and entertain my kids indoors because of the weather, but our Wi-Fi was not working and we didn’t have cell phone service. So ultimately, we left to entertain our kids elsewhere for a moment until the pool opened back up. But after returning to the pool, we spent 30 minutes in the pool, it was back out again. overall it’s a very nice location and very nice staff, but I definitely feel I overpaid for what I got and unsure if I will stay again.I spent $850 for lodging, extra passes for family to attend the water park and cabin (my daughter’s 11th bday,) the golf cart and the cabana. This does not include money spent in the gift shop or cafe. It was all just a little frustrating to me.
