I came to purchase a vehicle with a Pre-Approval from Navy Credit Union with a 1.99% interest rate. I was lied to by salesperson, Steven Bae, who claimed that my Bank Draft is considered a Cash Transaction and since 911, the Government requires me to fill out a form that included my Social Security Number. I thought that was strange because I purchase a vehicle 6 months prior and wasn't required to do this. I learned after there Finance Guy, Mark cake to speak with me. I informed him that I have a Draft. He said he could possibly offer My a better Interest Rate. I informed him that I have a 1.99%. Of course, they can't beat that. As we were signing forms, I was given one where they ran my Credit! I was livid! You out-and-out lied to me. I never authorized that to be done! I came there for a car not a loan. I was then told that I can only put $2500 on a Credit Card! I called him out on it and he left and came back to put it on my card. That too, sounds strange because people buy cars with their Credit Card. After that, he claimed that I had something on my Driver's License that would not allow him to order my tag. I knew that wasn't true because I have no tickets and handle my business. I then tried to contact Department of Driver's Services only to havearkntell me that they were closed. I proceeded to search online and found an office that was open. They informed him that there was nothing on my record or license. He tried to tell her that she removed it. She told him that she did nothing because nothing was on it! I feel I was treated this way because I am an Disabled African-American woman. There are laws against these type of inscupulous business practices.

First time I ever felt that service did not meet my expectations at Jim Ellis. My vehicle is a 2009 and was brought new, Jim Ellis the only place I take it for service. With that being said, I've been there many, many times over the years. Understanding how busy it was, I felt rushed in determining in what service I was going to purchase. Normally, the advisor would make suggestions, that didn't happen. I had some coupons ready to get several things done, however, feeling rushed, I opted for only the oil change. After a reasonable time, I was told my vehicle was ready, the paperwork indicated that I declined battery service, which I did, but it also indicated that I declined tire rotation (had a coupon for that); was never offered or even mentioned at the time of checking in. I decided not to even mention it before leaving based on the atmosphere upon arrival. Not sure if not enough service advisors were on duty, but clearly there was a need to have more, so that customers, particularly me could adequately get information to make the right decision on the needed service without being rushed and ending up with the very basic service by feeling rushed.

Great communication between the rep and myself. He contacted me several times to give me updates. Also, washing the exterior and filling up the tank of gas was a nice touch.
