Very good 9/10 times. FYI - Would like you back in the Costco buyer program when I buy another one... not sure when you dropped out but I hate haggle car shopping and prefer the program.

As we had to travel almost 200 miles to this dealership I did extensive research on the vehicle we were interested in including contacting the sales representative at the dealership to ensure that our needs would be able to be met once making the trip. We were pre-qualified for the loan and as long as there was flexibility on the price of the new vehicle and/or our trade-in there would be no problems. The sales person at Jim Ellis ensured us over the phone that there was flexibility on both/either and I had explained over the phone that this particular issue was of utmost importance as we had a trade-in with negative balance and we wanted to make sure that they would be able to accommodate somewhat if the numbers came back differently from what we were pre-qualified for with the lender. All this was done prior to us making the trip and we were assured that they cold be flexible. Once there however, there was no flexibility on either, our pre-qualification was not used (partially my fault because we added my husbands name to the loan and that changed the terms which I was unaware of and NOBODY at the dealership told me or explained why the terms they got back were different!) Needless to say; we were unable to use that lender as the down payment was out of our reach and there was NO flexibility on price of vehicle (as a matter of fact, we ended up paying a higher price than what was advertised on the lender's website!) to help us get in a down payment range we were able to swing! Since we had traveled 200 miles we were both furious (mostly me since I was the one doing all the footwork beforehand and still got screwed!) We ended up with an interest rate that added almost $200 to our monthly note and even though I absolutely love the vehicle, we will never do business with this dealership again nor will I recommend it. We had found the same vehicle about 50 miles away but we didn't go there because they were not flexible on the trade-in values. We could have saved a whole day in travel time and just bought one locally.....Next time we will. Don't appreciate being blatantly lied to in order to make a sale!
