Never had a bad experience at Jim Ellis Hyundai. I would never take my car anywhere else for service. Friendly and informative staff.

I brought my vehicle in for 30,000 mile service. I was up-sold on new tires as well, by service adviser A.G. Elder. I asked for an estimate on the tires, and was told "about $120." The estimate on the sheet I signed for the 30,000 mile service said $159. I was told that the service for both the maintenance and tire service should take about 4 and half hours. More than 7 hours later, when I finally got my car back, the bill was $1099.47. The $120 tires actually cost $146.15 each, thanks to $100 labor charge that was never discussed and (I feel) should have been included in the price of buying tires. The $159 maintenance came to $437.50. The final insult on the bill was a mysterious charge of $31.28 for "Customer pay fee supply for repair order Online Appt created 2017-02-13" Was this a charge of $31.28 for having made an appointment?! I brought my car in for standard maintenance, and ended up paying $1100 after waiting 2.5 hours longer than the estimated time for service. I am a very unhappy customer, and will never bring my vehicle to Jim Ellis for service again, and will never purchase another vehicle from Jim Ellis, and will be sure to tell this story to all my friends and co-workers.
