It took 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation on my hyundai sonata hybrid. There really no sense of urgency or efficiency in the whole process of getting my car serviced, from start to end. After waiting for an hour and a half, one of the staff came out and said the car would be out soon and asked if I knew I had wheel locks on my car. I said I didn't but I had the vehicle serviced at Jim Ellis before and it was never brought up to me. 30 minutes later I still hadn't gotten my car back so I went in to check again. The mechanic was in the room discussing the mistake he had made with my car and blamed the previous mechanic that had serviced the car for putting the wheel locks on. Apparently when he tried to remove them they wouldn't come off so he yanked on them and completely stripped them. He then had to break them off and just replace them with new locks. The lack of communication with me as I waited 2 hours for my car was what I struggled with most. It's also concerning that the mechanic messed up a tire rotation, what if he had been working on something more serious on my car.

As usual, the service provided by Jim Ellis and service representative Bruce Vernon were exceptional. I drive to Jim Ellis in Atlanta from Lithonia because I like the courteous and professional service from the service team at Jim Ellis in Atlanta and I always gravitate to the counter of Bruce Vernon because he has taken the time to get to know me and my 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring.
