I spent 4 hours waiting on my car for an oil change and new brakes. I expected to wait, but not that long. I would have been fine taking an Uber to my office if I had know it would be 4 hours. After 2 hours, I was told it would be 30 more minutes which seemed reasonable. I checked again after an hour and was told my car was finished and was being cleaned. I checked again after another 30 minutes and was told that my car was actually still being worked on. At that point, I had missed my opportunity to get an Uber to make a meeting. My car was not ready for another 30 minutes. I don't have a problem with how much time it took, but if I had been told up front I would have just dropped the car. It was terribly inconvenient. The staff was courteous during all of this but that didn't help when I was late for my appointment.

I have worked with Jim Ellis for roughly 5+ years and I have had all my services completed at the dealership. Aside from that I bought my first car from Jim Ellis Hyundai and recently bought a 2017 Hyundai sonata sport. For the most part I get excellent service but my last visit was horrible. On 2/1/2017 one of my tires started going flat on my way to work. I pulled over and called the service center. The service center stated that my tire is not in stock but a shipment will be made at 11am (for the exact same tire I have) so I decided to take time off of work to get the problem resolved at 3pm. I arrived 10 minutes early and I was hoping the service would be expeditious. At 3:50 I was notified that my tire was not in stock and the replacement would be more expensive than my original tire. After another 40 minutes my service was finally completed. I cannot comprehend how a brand new car with new tires will get a flat so quickly (I reviewed the tire in the morning when I changed it for the spare and there was no nail or object in the tire, there was just a hole that looked like wear). I also cannot comprehend how an associate could say they will have my tire and they do not. After all of my efforts I would have expected better service, not a more expensive tire, a long wait, incorrect information and disregard for my time. I read the Jim Ellis promise every time I am waiting for service to be completed on my car and this promise was not fulfilled on my last visit. I am a loyal customer that exclusively works with this company and this seriously makes me question whether I will have any business with Jim Ellis moving forward.
