The bad: My Santa Fe was due for service to address a recent recall. I asked my wife if she could take care of scheduling the appointment, which she did, and was told it would take 1.5 hours. A few days prior to the appointment, I realized the car also needed an oil change and she called to see if she could bring the car in early and have that done during the same visit, and how much extra time it would take because she had to be somewhere afterwards. Apparently the woman she spoke to was very short with her, and not friendly. The woman put my wife on hold, came back and said my wife couldn't bring the car in the early, the appointment was scheduled for 2 hours and couldn't be changed. My wife explained she was told earlier the appointment would take an 1.5 hours to which the woman replied that all appointments are scheduled for 2 hours in case they need that long. The good: My wife's experience at the service shop was very good. The gentleman who helped her, Eddie King, was friendly and explained that an oil change would be taken care of as part of the recall. That would have been helpful for the woman on the phone to explain to my wife, or have someone more knowledgeable explain to her. The service took less time than expected and my wife had no trouble getting to her meeting.

I went with a friend to a nearby restaurant while my car was being diagnosed. My hope was to not sit so long waiting. I did not receive a call when the problem was found with my car. When I came beck and inquired about it I was told. Since no one called me to tell me what mechanic found, I had to wait anyway. Lesson learned was I should have told them I expected a phone call, or text asking me to call, as soon as they knew what the problem was and had an estimate.
