I live in CT and bought a 5.0 Genesis over the phone. My sales person Damien was extremely helpful and even picked me up from the airport. I was in and out in under 2 hours. I'm very happy with my car.

I had been getting e-mails like crazy from Hyundai saying my vehicle was due for service. It was within a few hundred miles of the mileage on the oil change sticker and after the mileage sticker due date. So I set up an appointment to get the oil changed and the tires rotated. When I got there I was handed off to a generic service rep who tried to talk me out of getting the service. He quoted oil change mileages that were significantly larger than the manual. The last time I was here the rep said every 3 months regardless of mileage. If this is how I am going to be treated, I may change to a dealership that is 20 minutes closer to my house. Fire the service rep who tried to talk me out of it.

I was called and asked if they could discuss options to leverage my 2011 and look at moving me to another newer model - it was positioned that they were "needing pre-owned inventory". I am happy with the car and with the payments - 'my engine was recalled so I got a Whole NEW engine. I thought Inwould talk and it turned into 3 hours of nonsense. The bottom line was to look at a 2017 without leather, then add back in, lose the keyless and the sunroof and the payment would be $484. I would buy a Mercedes for that!! I told the Finance man I had stated where I wanted to be from the beginning and this 3 hours waste of my time was insulting. He then said in order to get me where I need to be they would have to cut the price $7500. So? You called Me. I wasn't looking. I am doing fine in my 2012. Now I am thinking I may move my service to another dealer (until they pull this bait and switch).

Damein Solomon is one of the most helpful people I have ever encountered at a car a dealership. I purchased my Genesis from him back in March and when I called him last week to let him know of an issue I was having he quickly took care of setting up an appointment, fixing the issue, and even loaning me a car.
