I took my 2011 Sonata in for an oil change yesterday. Upon completion of the oil change I drove out and went about 3 miles when the car completely stopped on the highway. I had my car towed back to the dealer where they checked the oil and found that there was not a drop in there. It appears that the mechanic did not put any oil in the car. Luckily I had just exited the freeway where vehicles were going 70 mph, or the result could have been much more tragic. The engine was ruined and I now must drive a rental car for 30 to 60 days while they acquire a new engine. While I appreciate the fact that the dealership did everything they needed to do after this occurred, it doesn't alter the fact that it should have never happened. In the past my experience with the Jim Ellis service department has been very positive, and yesterday my advisor, A.G. Elder was very professional and handled the situation in the best possible manner.

I love my 2014 Equus. However, I have had the car there THREE TIMES in the past few months for a mysterious problem - the cruise control goes off and I get a signal that says "Check SCC Radar." It is still not fixed as it happened to me again today. In fact, since I returned to the city and took my wife to Emory for a hip replacement Tuesday, it has happened 3 times. Mostly, on level ground at 40 MPH. I also want o report that my car was returned almost empty of gas when I left it 3/4 full.
