Everyone we worked with was great. Alex was our salesmen and I would tell anyone looking for a car to go see him. Jim Ellis had the best prices within a 60+ mile radius and nobody was pushy about any part of our experience and instead took an informational approach to help us make decisions.

I came into the dealership with my heart set on buying a 2017 GTI, Oleg immediately discerned what our purpose was and retrieved one to test drive. We really appreciated the willingness and directness with which we where assisted to buy this car.

We just purchased a 2017 VW Beetle convertible and the experience was very positive. Our thanks to Tracey Woodyard, Kevin Chung, and Stephanie Morris for the manner in which they helped us with our purchase. They all made sure that all our questions were answered and conducted themselves in a professional and friendly manner. You often hear the horror stories about buying a car but our experience was quite the opposite. The other two cars we own are from Jim Ellis Mazda. The other VW dealership is much closer to us, i.e. 3 miles versus 13 miles but we believe that the Jim Ellis brand does stand for quality.

Our salesperson, Larry, was very professional and personable. He consulted w/ a manager (?) about the final price and I think we could have paid a better price for our 2014 Jetta since we have been loyal Volkswagen customers. However, it is a nice car, my son really liked it and I didn't have time to haggle over cars anymore. The part that made me totally irate was when we had to speak to the man about payment. We waited quite a long time before we we able to see him and when we did, he was obviously annoyed with me because I wouldn't finance the car. I chose to pay CASH and didn't feel I had to justify that to anyone. It was evident he and/or VW wouldn't benefit from their kickback or fees, but frankly, I don't care. He was rude and had no business challenging me for paying cash. That is the primary reason I will think twice about future business with VW, particularly when my lease is up.
