I have had costly repairs done to my VW EOS in the last year and have grown very frustrated with recurrent check engine light issues and parts that need to be replaced. This visit, Bill and Rafeal were very understanding.

Today's experience was mixed. Everyone was courteous. This is the third time I was in for a problem that was reported in March 2016. The notification was that a front side light was out. Also a notification that a seat belt was not latched. The tech at that time could not find a bulb out (we never did either) and could not get the information on dash to come on. He did replace the seat belt latch (by the way we still get an occasional light and chime that shows it is not latched). Took the car back Jan. 17, 2017 with the continuing issue of a light out after my wife and I did some minor testing and found an issue. The driver's side DRL's and fog light did not come on when the headlights were on. Bulbs are not burned out but do not operate properly. The VW tech determined that a new headlight assembly was needed. Brought car back on Jan. 30. A new headlight assembly was installed but the side light out issue continued, Further investigation showed a new J519 was needed. It was ordered and will be replaced later this week. According to the service rep, the seat belt alarm and the lights are both tied into the J519. With this information that was given originally, I wonder why the original service tech did not think of this solution when first reported.

As always the people at Jim Ellis are the best!!! From Stephanie helping with appointment to Chad helping with the service every person I have come to know at Jim Ellis is a new friend. Chad put my new peace sign tag on the front of my Beetle. Everyone just goes over and way beyond to do any and everything they can do for you. And as always I can't forget Fred Matt or Ernie!!!!!
