I took my 2016 Golf sport wagon in for it's 30,000 mile maintenance and to have a clunking noise checked out when you put the car in reverse and drive and when lightly touching the gas and letting off the gas. The problem is sporadic.When I got the car back the the radio was tuned into another station which would indicate they were listening to the radio while trying to diagnose a problem with a noise the car is making. All the fluids were supposed to be topped off but the only reservoir that was filled to the full level line was the washer fluid. I asked them not to rotate the tires because I had the front tires replaced one week prior to to the the 30.000 mile maintenance. I was told he would tell the technicians not to rotate because it had already been done. When they put the oil in they spilled it down the side of the motor. On a prior visit where I had a punctured tire replaced they didn't even put a valve stem cover on. When I take my car to the dealer for maintenance I expect some level of attention to detail. As far as them not being able to find the clunking noise may be legit because it is sporadic,however, if your listening to the stereo you probably wouldn't here it.I don't normally right poor reviews but I'm seeing a pattern here with complacency.

They took my car in (2015 Passat), gave me a loaner and worked over the weekend to fix the problem (new brake rotors and an update to the computer chip to resolve a transmission shifting issue). The staff was friendly, courteous and professional.

Didn't have my appt on record even though I called and confirmed the appointment and the location the day before. Spoke to Jeff (but was hard to hear because his "headset: was broken). No loaner available since they didn't have my appt in the books.
