2015 Passat This was our second experience with Jim Ellis Volkswagen. The first was good. This time, not so good. Our appointment was at 9:45 AM and we were told that it would take appx 2 hours. We called at 12:15 PM and were told that the car was ready but we could not pick it up until 1 PM as the tech was at lunch and only he could sign off on it. We arrived appx 12:55 PM. When my wife got into the car and drove off, she noticed a glob of yellowish grease and oil spots on the drivers side, inside door molding. We are a little disappointed.

We just purchased a VW Passat. The experience was excellent - all due to Clark Stoddard.

First the good: You were able to complete the fairly extensive 120,000 mile service in a timely manner on what was apparently a very busy day. But you dropped the ball on another item.I specifically called a week in advance to schedule the service and to allow time for you to order a part that I figured you wouldn't have in stock. That way, it would be there and I wouldn't have to make another trip. The part wasn't there. I called the next morning and left a message. A few hours later, I was in the area, so I dropped in. They indicated that the part was ordered on the day of service and should be there that day. I left. About 10 minutes later, I got a call that the part was there. Not a major criticism, but I ended up making two additional trips that I had planned to avoid.
