It was a great experience and everyone was really friendly. The only thing I didn't like was my car wasn't actually clean on the outside. Apparently it went through the machine but it looked like nothing happened to it and I asked if they could redo it. The inside was great and vacuumed but the outside still had a ton of dirt on it. You would think the person washing the car would realize it wasn't clean but I guess they weren't paying attention to detail. I also wish someone could have figured out how to use the bluetooth in my car. I waited about 20 minutes for the guy to figure it out and never bothered to ask someone else that knew more about the type of car I have.It was for a 2008 Jetta and I bought a cord for it but the person I bought the car from couldn't figure it out. Also, I do not know when I should change my oil next because ever since I bought the car and brought it in 45 day later for an inspection, no one has put a sticker on the window saying when I should get my oil changed next. But overall, great experience!

I went in because the tire pressure warning light came on three times in the same week. I was sent away that evening with instructions to keep the tire pressure at 35 psi. No charge. The next morning the warning light came on again. I stopped at Jim Ellis again and asked them to look for a bigger problem than tire pressure. Left with a new tire due to a slow leak in a previous flat tire repair. $200 charge. Having to make two stops for the same issue was very annoying. So - why was the problem not found the first time I came in? I did not receive an explanation.

Great job! but they did not reset mileage for oil change

The service experience was generally positive. The only reason I did not give a higher score was I was quoted $250 for the transmission service and the total came to $280. I realize that sales tax is applicable to parts, but the $12.24 Misc charge got under my skin. I still don't understand the necessity for that charge and it will be in the back of my mind when making a service provider choice. Just charge what you say you will charge -- besides that I'm sure the actual work was top notch and the cleaning up of the vehicle was a plus.

I was scheduled for my 80000 mile service. I was told the work would require 5 hours. I was provided a very nice loaner car and my Jetta was finished in 4 hours. This was extremely helpful to me!
