Not super thrilled - will probably take my vehicle to another dealer for future service. Vehicle returned after service with check tire light. Would have been double charged for detailing service if I had not insisted that the cashier check with someone else regarding pricing.

When we dropped off my Jetta for service, we had to explain the problems numerous times to numerous people. This was frustrating because it seemed af is nobody once what was going on and that our concerns were not being heard. When we got a call back to discuss what the problems were there was a lot of miscommunication. We were initially told that pre-owned vehicles purchased from the dealership had a 2 year or 24,000 mile warranty. But then we were told that the problems with my vehicle were not covered because I was out of warranty due to being over 24,000 miles since the purchase in October 2015. Later, when we started that the mileage was less than 24,000 miles since purchase, we were then told that that warranty is for certified pre-owned vehicles and the vehicle I purchased was not certified. At this point we were highly frustrated. There was issues with the headlight, which had been re-wired by the previous owner and did not have factory lights in it. We were told that this could be dangerous and lead to a fire, but the dealership did not want to take responsibility for selling the vehicle to us like that. We asked to speak to a manager, but that never happened. After talking in circles and getting nowhere, we finally told the service representative to get everything fixed. Later that day we came back to the dealership to pick up a loaner car. The assistant service manager was less than friendly. As we waited for him to complete the paperwork, we noticed a plaque on his desk stating what customers should expect. We laughed because we had not experienced a single thing on the list. The following day we came to pick up my car. We eye passed by several service reps, including the assistant service manager, without a single greeting or even a smile. We were advised that the oil was changed, totes rotated, AC compressor was replaced, and that they replaced the bulbs in the headlights but they did not have to replace the housing as originally expected. We thought this was great news. But when I got in my car and started it, there were still indicator lights lit up on the dash. If I bring my car to the dealership where I purchased it from for service, I should not leave with any indicator lights on...that's ridiculous! So I notified the service representative of this issue and he took it back. When he brought my car back, he told us that the indicator light for a light outage was on because the headlights had been re-wired and the only way to fix that was to re-wire them back to stock. The airbag indicator was on because there was a malfunction with the passenger seatbelt, but they couldn't fix it. The psi indicator was reset with no problem. So only 1 out if 3 indicator lights had been fixed. He assured me that all my lights were working and that the airbags were all on and in working order. At this point I was exhausted with the whole experience and just wanted to get out of there...even if I did have to deal with the indicator lights. I drove back to my home that day, which is in Statesboro. Upon return I found that I had a tail light out and that none of the valve caps had been placed back on the tires. I then had to go get the light fixed and purchase valve caps. All in all, I'm not very satisfied with the service. Everyone was extremely nice when we were purchasing the car, but seemed to be put out when we brought it back for service. I'm a die hard VW fan, but at this point I'm not a big fan of Jim Ellis VW.

My experience was wonderful. I bought my car from the Kennesaw, GA location and Kevin was just amazing! He helped me figure out that my car didn't need a part but just a system update and that everything was covered. And because I was waiting him and his team did a vacuum and wash on my car as well. They were just great over there!

Well in the past customer service was much better. I came in for my 10K service 6/16 and was never addressed my name was treated like I was a pain you know where. I did make an appointment!! I was told about an hour so I waited and after 1.5 hours I walked to the service area to see my car finished and parked. So I left and when I started up my car the change oil showed up again. At that time I did not have any more time but did return on 6/22 for the computer to be fixed they did that and changes my time??? No real happy about my last service and this is not what I have experienced in the past.
