The waiting area is so nice! Coffee and donuts are a great feature! The service only took 45 minutes. Awesome job!

I have been a customer for many years with Jim Ellis VW and unfortunately, the day I brought my car in, I felt like I was inconviniencing the service rep. I understand that everyone is busy, but did not feel welcomed and it was a very long wait. I do understand that and I am very patient. What I don't understand is why the person that came to get me after my car was ready was unable to answer any of my questions and did not offer to find out either. He stated he was "new" and did not know the answer to my questions. I am very disappointed in my service. I will state that there was ONE sales person that actually spoke to me and said that I was welcome to stay in the media room while I waited for my car to be serviced. So, I did rate a 4 instead of a 0 because of that. Also, I was told from a previous appt. that a part would be ordered for a clogged windshield wiper dispenser. I was told that I would be contacted when the part came in...STILL have not been done! I asked about this on my last visit and STILL not fixed.

We made an appointment for 9:30 am Saturday and drove up to Kennesaw to have the oil changed on my Jeep that we purchased at your dealership because the plug on the oil pan was over tightened, no big deal, but Pep Boys wouldn't even touch it because they were afraid to crack the oil pan so they suggested we take it to the people that did the last oil change. My husband was explaining this to the service guy, I didn't get his name, but he was about 6 ft tall dark completion and starting to bald. He proceeded to argue with us that it wasn't over torqued with an "impact wrench" my husband used that term, possibly in error, but that wasn't the point. Then he harped on the fact that it had been 12k miles since my oil change, we were 2k over our change on synthetic oil, still not the point. My husband tried to get the oil changed on schedule before heading out of town, but Pep Boys was unable to do it. We explained AGAIN as calmly as possible, that all we needed was the oil changed by them as Pep Boys suggested in case the pan cracked so the dealership would have to replace it since your shop did the last change. We finally got flustered when he told us he wouldn't even know what to charge for an oil change, he wasn't even willing to help us, if that was the case why take our appointment or sell anything but VW cars? This was an appointment that was made earlier in the week. He acted like he was refusing to help us. My husband and I did all we could to maintain our cool, but I finally asked him what it was about us that he was refusing to help us? My husband then told him to come out and look at the sticker showing that your dealership did the last change and synthetic oil was put in showing us to change at 80k plus miles. While they stepped out, the assistant manager, an older stocky built man, was sitting at his podium listening to the entire conversation. I asked if we had said something wrong to upset the guy we were working with, he claimed he hadn't heard the conversation so I let him know what our issue was with the oil pan and that we just needed an oil change and why we had to come all the way to Kennesaw to get it done. He never really gave me a reply he was just sort of "checked out." My husband and the other guy came back in and he proceeded to check us in the system and told us he would call when the car was ready, we had to wait until 12:20 to get a call back, almost 3 hours after our appointment time because he had to wait for the parts, again this was a set appointment why didn't they have the parts ready to go? When we returned I'm assuming the asset mgr spoke to him because he was cordial, but never did we get an apology from him or the asst. manager, shocking, most places would offer an apology and a coupon to try and get a customer to give a second chance to earn business! I still can't understand what set him off, it was all very strange. I will never return to your dealership for a car purchase or any type of service even if it was free! People should be treated with respect.

I made my appointment online and dropped my vehicle off the night before my appointment. I was called the same afternoon with a quote and the recall had already been completed. Everyone was pleasant and my repairs were completed promptly.

Aaron Harmer is great. My 9 rating is based on previous trips to the dealership but overall extremely satisifed.
