I just purchased a Volkswagen a few days ago from a different dealership and came into Jim Ellis to fix a recall and get a spare key. The people were very friendly, the service was very quick and staff was helpful. I had to bring 2 children with me and they have a very kid friendly environment

Effective but very expensive. Mom and pop auto shop down the street quoted $2200 to do the same job that you'd charge $3200 for.

For my 2015 VW Golf Sportswagen. Had a great experience. Having a quite place to work with an internet connection, while I waited for the service to be completed was great. Only hiccup was that I had my readouts in kilometers instead of miles.

Overall, we had a very positive experience buying our 2013 Jetta. The only thing I could say wasn't perfect is the sales associate, Alex, spent too much time explaining to me why I should give him a perfect score on the survey (he won't get his bonus if I don't). Aside from that he was perfect. After we had the car for a day or two, we realized there was a problem with the ignition. (Please note that we bought a Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned Car, that went through the 212 point inspection. Obviously, someone missed something) Dealing with the service department was not as pleasant of an experience. The service rep, Kyle, kept changing his story on the location of the service manager (evidently, Kyle could not make a decision without consulting the manager). He told us we would have to wait a month, until the sale paperwork was processed, before the service department would look at my car. I had to get Alex (the salesman) to get involved to help me sort everything out and get them to give us a loaner. The loaner they gave us was completely out of gas and a warning light was on. Eventually, Kyle called me back to let me know that the part needed to change out the cylinder had to be ordered from Germany because they are "made individually for each car" (I find that hard to believe). To date, I am still waiting for the part to come in to have the car repaired.

I recently received a letter from Volkswagen notifying me of the "Recall" on the airbag on my vehicle. Since it was time to have my EOS serviced, I called your dealership to inquire about repairing or replacing the airbag. I was told the parts were not available and would not be available for 2-5 months. However, per the paperwork I received after the servicing was performed the airbag was repaired. In addition, when the Service Advisor brought the paperwork to my wife after the car had been serviced, the Service Advisor said the Service Technician found a "weeping" leak that needed to be repaired, didn't she want to get it repaired while she was there? There is no indication of a leak, "weeping" or otherwise! The computer printout did not reflect any problem with the fluids in the crankcase, and there are no tell tell signs of a leak on our driveway. It makes me wonder if the Service Advisor was trying to take advantage of a woman who might not be familiar with automotive repairs in order to make up lost revenue from the Volkswagen debacle by "dreaming up" needed repairs. It even makes me wonder if the air bag was actually repaired. How would it make you feel?

John who makes the biggest difference at your dealership. I have been a customer of his when he used to work in Alpharetta VW. He is the best!! He knows how to treat his customers. Just because John is there , I will be keep coming back as I know that I am in good hands. I do not trust any other dealership service guys as they make you feel like they are there to rip you off but John , he does not give you that feeling at all!!!

My previous visit was less than pleasurable. I had emailed someone at Jim Ellis that send me a $15.00 off coupon and asked that I try again. The gentleman that checked me in was wonderful. He kept me updated on the progress.
The service was convenient and was done quickly. Very pleasant.
