I had a few problems with my car and my service. I drove down from Chattanooga after work to lease a 2015 Golf TDI Sportwagon and after receiving the car and driving it back to Chattanooga noticed that it was due for an oil change in 25 days. With the car being brand new with only 200 miles on it, I feel as if this should have already been done, or if it was done the oil change light should have been reset. On top of that, my car was supposed to come with monster mats, and additional $235 charge, and I never received them. The keyfob battery was also needing to be replaced when I bought it. I called a managed about these problems shortly after purchasing the vehicle to see if they could help me with these issues and he said would contact me with a solution. I still have not received a call or heard any updates on these issues. The next day, one of my family members went to Village Volkswagen in Chattanooga and purchased the same car with zero issues. The staff there was very helpful and even took the time to explain features and services to me that were not explained at Jim Ellis. They even offered to turn on my xm satellite radio subscription.

The service manager took on our issue even though he was closing up. I was surprised and concerned that I didn't hear from anyone the next day until I received the phone call telling me my car was ready to pick up.

I have been taking my 2011 VW Jetta for services and repairs to the Jim Ellis of Kennesaw pretty much since it opened. I was very excited when it opened because before that, the closest one to me was off the Windy Hill exit. I love how quick and helpful the staff is. The only annoyance I had this time was that my windshield wipers stopped working a couple of weeks ago and every time I went in, or tried to call, the store didn't have any loaners left because they were all out to other customers. It is hard to have a whole day that you can go without vehicle, especially when you are afraid that due to business, you might have to pay out of pocket for a rental in addition to repairs if it takes more than one day to fix. Other than that, I am very thankful to the staff and mechanics who got me back in my car by the end of the day and were very kind to me and I will continue to take my car to the Kennesaw store for future maintenance and repairs.
