Any experience I have with Jim Ellis VW is always a pleasure! It's nice to know I can trust the staff, and that I'm in good hands. I never worry about fictitious repair needs or unnecessary charges. From my first visit to the closing of my deal I felt completely welcomed and valued. My salesman Jose Vasquez and the sales manager Erwin Lanier are two of the most genuine, down to earth people one could hope to meet. They made the purchase of my GTI a smooth and actually quite enjoyable transaction. Aside from the business end of it, I feel like my family could "adopt" both of these guys.

There were minor grievances I had about the vehicles condition that the dealership refused to fix. In fact they told me to find the button on Amazon to fix it and no such button exists and Acura charges $700+ to replace it. The recommendation felt more like the sales manager blowing me off instead of making a legitimate recommendation. Papers that they failed to get signed while I was there so I had to take my time and drive over to UPS on two separate occasions and there isn't a close UPS office and I specifically asked for FED EX which is right around the corner and they ignored my request. The car was supposed to be detailed and cleaned and when I got it there was still wax all over the car from a previous car detail service that they didn't bother to remove and none of the mats were where they needed to be and I ended having to take the vehicle to another dealership to get a seat belt fixed. I was told by the sales person that the Acura Warranty would transfer over and after visiting the Acura dealership they relieved me of any such notion. I was told with such vibrant assurance that it would carry over. It was an overall not so pleasant experience and even though I purchased the Scotch Guard Interior warranty, because the dealership refused to remove it I am terribly apprehensive about using it as the explanation I received of what it exactly covers was so vague and non reassuring as the likely scenarios felt incredibly improbable even with children thrown into the mix. Spilling Nacho cheese in the car, who let's their kids each nacho while they're driving... Would never recommend the dealership to any friends or family as the whole sales team felt incompetent and finance kept me 30 minutes droning on about an extended warranty plan and was somewhat pushy, but he was still friendly. All I really wanted was to get the button fixed and I probably would have been happy about my purchase, but every time I get in my car I see that missing button and I am reminded of how unpleasant that experience really was that day.

My experience was excellent. Luke was the best sales specialist I have ever experienced. He got me in a 2017 golf and I couldn't be happier. He was very helpful and made sure I got exactly what I wanted.
