I was so blessed to get the pleasure of closing a great deal on an amazing new 2017 Passat S with Oleg and Earnest from the Kennesaw branch. 1) Lack of communication was deplorable. I left my car on Friday evening with an assurance I would hear from service on Saturday. No word, so I called in; no return call. No communication on Monday. Left two messages on Tuesday w/o a return message; finally connected with a service manager on Tuesday, late afternoon when I called for the third time, who said he had left a message--but I never received it. An offer for a loaner was made late Tuesday, but that was too late for me to take advantage of the offer. Even if the department is very busy, and the car is still under diagnosis, PLEASE contact the customer to tell her what the status is. 2) My car was not fixed. Yes, the manager told me they had not ascertained the problem and offered to keep the car longer, but at that point, it was too late; I paid over $900 to drive it away, and the problem was not resolved. 3) This experience has reinforced my reluctance to have my car serviced at the dealership. I had the same poor service at another Jim Ellis when I had my car serviced in 2012.
