Everything was great except for the wait time. I had an appointment, but I was there an hour and 45 minutes for an oil change.

We brought the 2015 Jetta in for an oil change and to find out why a few lights were on on the dash. It had been in an accident and all the body work had been taken care of so all we needed was to find the cause of the lights issue. They checked it out and said it was because of the wheel bearing in the right rear wheel and the wheel speed sensor and that it would not be under warranty because they could see marks on it. After further inquiry I learned that they did not remove the wheel or hub to inspect the bearing for wear possibly due to lack of grease or improper torque from the factory. I feel as though they heard accident and therefore it was no longer a warranty issue without even doing due diligence to properly evaluate the whole problem.

I really liked my sales guy, Raul Sanchez. He was very knowledgeable about the car I was looking at. I'd like to be able to give him a 10, but the rest of this has been so messed up I just can't. I purchased a 2017 Jetta GLI. Here are of the issues I've had with the rest of the process. I went in with an approved loan (cash in hand) and was shown pricing and a contract was drawn up for vendor financed pricing. This was after I told them (and gave them the form from the bank) that I had the loan already. I was notified of this 3 days after taking possession of the car and a day after the finance staff discovered it. The person who called me wanted me to immediately drive to your dealership during evening rush hour traffic - a 20 mile drive thru some of Atlanta's worst traffic. When I said I wouldn't be able to do that right away, he was very insistent on knowing when I could come in. He blamed the mistake on the new finance guy who wrote my contract, but he (Kevin) had come into where I was signing my paperwork with Curtis (the new guy) to help get a form printed. If Curtis was so new then why didn't Kevin take a look at the paperwork we were signing to make sure everything was good? While I had been working through the numbers I asked about a supplier discount that I knew I should be able to get from my employer and they threw in $100 discount - this wasn't the right amount, but I initially let it slide. After Kevin called to insist that I get the dealer financing for the car I explained once again that I already had the loan and was told that Jim Ellis would be able to pull the money from the lender - which they didn't as I discovered while talking with him. I told Kevin that I would take the financing if he could get me the same terms as the loan I already had, but I wanted to get my full supplier/partner discount. They did get me the same terms (though now my credit score sucks because of the two loans taken out in less than 5 days). I paid off my SunTrust loan and gained a interest fee - only $10, but still a fee. I haven't gotten anything yet from VW financing besides the contract. I also have hand prints on my dash from where the detailing guy must have gotten the wheel shine on it - I hope that comes out. My trunk doesn't pop with the button on the key fob like it's supposed to. And I don't think my first gear is synched right.

Gem Baydemir went out of his way to make sure our experience in purchasing our Passat was completely satisfying. We look forward to enjoying our new car. Frank Dickenson honored all related discounts from VW.
