This was my first time at Jim Ellis VW. We recently relocated to Canton from Milwaukee and selected Jim Ellis VW to service our Tiguan. Staff was friendly and professional. Work performed was as we have come to expect from a VW dealer and service team.

I ended up purchasing a 2017 certified pre-owned Golf that I just fell in love with. The staff was definitely helpful and tried their best to meet the needs/expenses I asked for. The only problem was that I specifically asked to only run my credit through Volkswagen first and then let me know the outcome before running through other banks but unfortunately they did not do that or consult me first before running it. My bank would've given me the lowest interest rate compared who they got it from but at the time, I didn't have a choice bc my bank hadn't gotten back to me so I took the only option I had.

I leased a 2017 Passat SE and I only went there to get the oil changed in my 2015 Passat. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Mr. Tate, the service advisor was exceptional (and the source of the #10 rating). His professional would be the main reason for return. We use go to the now Kuhn VW location. My concern was that upon arrival, I had to flag down someone to provide me direction once I arrived inside the garage and waited for over ten minutes. The car serviced is my husband's, and I am accustom to receiving a clean car back when I receive service from my dealership, especially with an invoice over $600. So not receiving a complimentary carwash, albeit it was raining was a disappointment. Nonetheless, the lounge was accommodating to get work completed on my laptop, and the Das Auto Store was on point.

The sales manager was rude and unprofessional. A trainee worked on my finanace papers and made a mistake prompting them to call me at my house hours later at night and again the manager was rude and unprofessional. Really loved the car but I will never buy from VW dealer on Barrett parkway or any other and I will never recommend a VW dealer or car to friends and family.

Whenever I come for service, it is a great experience. The waiting area is relaxing and clean. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Taking my car to "the shop" is no longer a chore.
