I came in for my 2 year - 24,000 mile service. One of the recommended items was replace the diesel filter. After the work was completed I jumped in the car and drove away. Immediately I smelled diesel. I thought perhaps there was a spill. About another 2 minutes into driving the car my right front wheel started to slip upon steering and acceleration. Then I noticed my rear window was getting covered in some sort of material (oil like). So I pulled over. I left the engine running and noticed that diesel was pouring (and I mean at an excessive rate) out of my engine compartment. So I immediately drove it back to the dealer. When I arrived I opened the hood and diesel was everywhere. It had covered the engine cavity, the under carriage of the car, wheel well, rear bumper, rear window. Basically my nice car was coated in diesel fuel. So I talked to Leo the service rep and told him please fix it and detail and clean the complete car. I specifically asked for under carriage cleaning since I knew the car was a mess and I didn't want to smell the diesel. I was given a loaner car and told he car would be ready in the morning the next day. When I arrived the next day I was told that the "parts department had given the service shop the wrong seal". My first feed back to you is internal finger pointing doesn't mean much to me. My second feedback to you was I was very disappointed in the workmanship of the repair. The fuel leak was so massive if the mechanic would have inspected his work with the engine running there is no way he would have missed the massive diesel leak. Lastly when I picked up the car the engine cavity was thoroughly cleaned. However the exterior, under carriage, etc. was untouched. I did not notice this right away. I called Leo and he told me that he was sorry that he had not inspected the detail shop's work. I told Leo I was done with Jim Ellis for this experience and I would personally clean up the diesel mess that had been created. So was my diesel filter properly replaced in the end? Yes. However quality of workmanship and attention to detail were missing. So I will spend this weekend washing my undercarriage to clean up diesel residue and getting rid of the smell of diesel. Sorry for the detailed explanation. Leo is not totally at fault here. His concern was genuine. His team behind him however was lacking and this lead to my overall poor experience. I will say that I do appreciate the chance to give you my feedback. I'm a Porsche owner as well and have purchased a Porsche from Porsche Perimeter. Last year I had a poor service experience with them. I called to let them know this. After I called I never received my survey. I was concerned this would be the same case with my recent VW experience. This was not the case so thank you for following through with your customer service process. Sincerely, Jason Martin Cars purchased from the Jim Ellis group in the last 4 years: 2013 Golf R, 2006 911s, 2014 Jetta TDI. Come 2018 I will be in the market for a new car when I turn in my TDI. Thank you.

I had a tire replaced and your technician failed to gauge the tire. I discovered the problem 1/2 mile up the road after leaving the dealership. When I returned to the dealership, my service advisor Josh Jamison was quick to address the problem so I could be on my way.

My salesman was Mark Cohen. He was warm, friendly and not pushy. He listened to what I wanted, suggested at least two cars, we walked around and explain other deals on the lot. Lance, the financial officer, went above and beyond to help me purchase a car and got me and explain the warranty on the car. I would come back and refer others to come for services. I purchased a 2016 Passat.
