2013 Passat TDI SE had check engine light on. I got an appointment on the afternoon of the day I called. The repair was taken care of expeditiously and there was no charge since the warranty on the failed part had been extended. Also had a recall serviced at this time. Leo, the technician, was very prompt in taking charge of the matter and explained the relevant issues to me. The car was out front ready to go when I got there for it. It was a pretty efficient operation.

I had to wait for my car for approximately 6.5 hours; however, Scott Kuehl made sure that I was comfortable and kept me update on the progress of the repairs to my car. Had a very pleasant experience as always.

The only negative was waiting outside in my car until exactly 7:30 AM for the door to the service team's offices to be opened. They were in the office but waiting to unlock the door. It was cold and rainy and it would have been nice to wait inside the building. The service was completed faster than expected so I appreciated that. The expectation was set very low, (meaning it would take a minimum of 2 hours), and that was met. It was a little frustrating for the bar to be set so low but at least it was exceeded.

It was easy to make the appointment online and I had no waiting in line upon arrival. The service adviser, Rose, put me in a loaner vehicle (a very nice, new Passat SE with a whopping 350 miles on the odometer) and I went on about my business. My Touareg was ready for pick up by mid-afternoon with the power steering issue fixed. They even replaced the stop/start button that had started to wear out (I didn't even notice it).
