Perssonell were friendly and helpful. Environment in waiting area was pleasant. Service was completed in a reasonable timeframe considering no appointment. Rate for work done was fair.

EOS 2013. Dead battery. I wanted to make sure it was not an electrical issue. Joshua Jamison was my service rep. He is excellent. I appreciate his help and honesty. I know I could have had the battery changed at an auto repair shop for less, but as long as we are treated well and get to deal with people like Mr Jamison, we will continue to bring our car to Jim Ellis for all our maintenance issues

The staff was helpful and I love that they did a check up even though all I got was an oil change and a fuse replacement.

I was expecting my service rep but was assigned a new one. My previous one Scott Kuell(sp?) was more personable. For example, he would come out in the waiting room to talk to me rather than call me to the window. Also, a suggestion- when I had a Fusion, the service dept always washed my car and vacuumed it before returning to me. I would think , especially with expensive service, that this would be a good suggestion.

We made plans since we came from Fairhope, al to have a appt. for mon. afternoon and a part was not even ordered until wednesday afternoon. Several unanswered and unreturned calls to get updates and had to take an extra day off work in order to pick up the vehicle and get back home. The fuel pump repair over $1000 and not even run through the carwash.

VW has been excellent but I'm now running into very expensive repairs on things that should not break. Just yesterday I spent $344 on the trunk latch - - I've had many cars and never has that failed. About 10 months ago I spent money on having the overhead light module replaced. I also had to have the bolts tightened on the front passenger door because the door wouldn't close properly (a local garage was able to handle that for me). Having said that, the personnel at the dealership could not be more courteous and helpful, especially Scott Croston.

I called Jim Ellis VW to get my oil changed on my '05 Passat. Never got a call back. Called again a few days later to try to schedule an oil change. Never got a call back. Went on line to schedule an oil change. I "spoke" with Crystal to try and get this done. We couldn't seem to get a TIME together to get an oil change set up so I just asked if I could drop off my car in the morning and come pick it up later in the afternoon. After going back and forth with her on line she told me I should talk to a service person to get that done. So I explained to her to ask Scott C to call me back about getting this done. No call back. So I finally just had to drive there and show up in order for me to get a simple oil change. Once I saw Scott he got me in and out in a couple of hours. He was very nice as he always is. But just to try and get it scheduled was a headache. I don't want to beg anyone to service my car.
