On Septemer 8, 2016 I brought my 2009 VW Passat Wagon in because the check engine light was on. I had a scheduled appointment. Rose was my service advisor. I waited on the car only to find out it needed a new thermostat and water pump. This is because the thermostat is connected to the water pump. I asked for a loaner car and received one. The car was ready later that day but I had to pick up on Friday September 9, 2016. The total bill was $1,280.74. I drove the car home and did not attempt to drive until Sunday September 11, 2016. At that time, the check engine coolant light came on. I checked the coolant reservoir and found it empty. The next day, Monday September 12, 2016 I called Rose and let er her know what happened. She said to fill the reservoir with water and drive to Jim Ellis. I added water but it ran right out from the water pump. I called her and she asked me to then have car towed to Jim Ellis. I do not have AAA and asked that Jim Ellis to tow. I had it towed next day by Mayer Towing but had to wait nearly two hours for tow truck. Tow truck driver was great. On Tuesday September 13, 2016 car needed new water pump again as replacement was bad. I was provided a loaner car. I picked up car on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at no charge but asked for a free oil change for all my lost productivity time. Rose indicated she would check with Tom her Supervisor and get back to me. I have not heard anything yet. I have been a loyal Jim Ellis customer since 1981. I bough my first new car, a 1981 VW Jetta from Jimmy Ellis, a salesman at the time. Since then, I have purchased another VW, Audi and Porsche all from the Jim Ellis Group. While I realize parts are manmade and can be defective, I think the free oil change would be a good gesture.

Josh got me right in and all but held my hand when he told me the outrageous price to replace a headlight bulb....$330.00. I almost fainted but Josh was so kind and offered to wash and vacuum my car.

Sterian Franc was the sales person, an excellent service provider, descriptive of the details, very clear and direct in its communication, excellent listener, showed all the options of the car (quality, safety, design, mechanics etc) it's competitive advantages with other brands, excellent work. Very cordial and ready to go the extra mile on its job. I purchased a Passat SE. It was a quick decision and fast paperwork with the deal and the finance. The two or three things I had to negotiate with Sterian, were very well managed and properly assessed with its management team and even beyond, a great experience. And I am a car guy, have several German cars and for many years. I lived and purchased cars in different countries so i know what means dealerships and buying a car experience. I will definitely recommend this dealership and Sterian

Service center is fantastic. Lots of TVs and different rooms to relax in. Service people are very nice. Did not take any longer than the time span I was told.
