I find it irritating that, after having my vehicle serviced (90k service plus a recall), the very moment I start the car --- still in the parking lot of the dealership -- that a warning to check one of my reverse lights is suddenly on. This warning indicator wasn't on when I arrived at the dealership or I would have had it included in the service. When I presented the new-found indicator to my service rep he said something to the effect that the tech "may have knocked it loose shutting the trunk during the service". I would think that, in moving the car from the bay to the parking lot, the technician may have possibly spotted the light? How is something like this not caught?
