I made a 7:30 AM reservation for the airbag recall and 80k service for my 2102 CC for Friday, 8/11. I arrived at 7:10 to avoid some of the long travel times of Atlanta morning traffic. I was greeted by an attendant almost as soon as I parked, I asked whether of not I needed to wait until 7:30 to check my car in, and the attendant said, "Wait a minute." He stepped inside to service department and was followed out by Rose Shuck. Over the next several minutes, Rose confirmed my reservation, clarified my needs for the car, found out that I preferred text communication over calls, told me how long the service would take, and asked when I'd like to pick up the car. I said between 2 and 3. By 7:20 I walked to my ride and was on my way to work. Great initial response. Throughout the morning Rose stayed in communication about the CC's other needs for immediate service and for future service and all the costs entailed in those services. At 12:48 I received a text that my CC was ready for pick up. When I arrived at 2:00, Rose met at the cashier and spent more time answering my questions about the service, especially noting that my alignment was perfect - I originally purchased the car at 40k as a CPO but with cupped tires. I put on a set of Contis and within 15k all tires were cupped. I had then had an upper strut bearing repair which seems to have solved the cupping but also had to replace the first set of Contis with a second set. The alignment news was very good news. I found my overall service experience to be excellent. Rose Shuck, my primary "face and voice" for Jim Ellis VW was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a better service representative. Service was fast and efficient. Scott was great, communicated the status on the vehicle service quickly and did not push unnecessary additional repairs. I also appreciate your online booking, payment, SMS comms, and key-drop for after hours drop off to avoid traffic. This was my first time servicing at this Jim Ellis location, and while it is. It the closest to me, I will be back! -Ryan
