The service at Jim Ellis is a disgrace. I purchased a VW Beetle Convertible in 2009 and since have had only problems and bad experiences with your service department. The labor is poor at least, in some cases the services I paid for were not even done. Other times I was charged the for twice the labor time as the actual work took, because that is what the 'book' allows. Unfortunately the technician did not reassemble the car properly, which resulted in even more problems, and another visit. The service technicians take no pride in their work, there is on quality assurance. Newly replaced parts are defective when installed, and nobody notices it. When parts are ordered there is no follow-up to inform the customer when the parts come in. Every time the car leaves the service garage there is a new problem that did not exist when the car was dropped off. Jim Ellis will no longer be servicing my car.

My service experience with Jim Ellis VW was simply wonderful. It started with great service from Mark at the parts desk and continued with Rose, in service. The customer service and follow-up by both was very much appreciated

Needed a water pump. The wrong one was ordered delaying my car a day. The next day the staff didn't notify me that the correct water pump hadn't arrived yet until the afternoon even though they said they would call me in the morning to give me a status update (I had to call them instead of them calling me). And while they ending up scrambling to get the pump installed later that day the experience would have been fine if only they would communicate what's going on in a timely manner.
